Iv been playing around with POF traffic for almost 2 weeks now and I discovered something quite cool which has dramatically increased CTR..

I havent seen this mentioned on here, but you can dynamically insert a users information into your ad.

You can insert Gender, Age, and State.

So you ad could read (to a 34 years old male living in florida):

If you are a Male aged 34 and living in Florida we have just the woman for you!

If the user was a male 21 living in Alaska then it would read:

If you are a Male aged 21 and living in Alaska we have just the woman for you!

To do this you need to add the following to your ads:

{gender:default}
{age:default}
{state:default}

** replace 'default' with a value to show encase the gender, age or state isnt avaliable **

So the above ad would have to be typed:

If you are a {gender:male} aged {age:21+} and living in {state:The USA} we have just the woman for you!

Im getting mixed results - none profitable so far tho

I have spent the whole weekend reading about different ad stratagies and now feel I am ready to dive back in (iv just deposited more money and have a new campaign pending approval - ill let you know how its going).

I've been using POF for a long time, when I started CPA Marketing I came to the POF. Because bought course in WSO section about it. It was awesome. made me good money, but now.. I can't see profit like that, if i set-up similair campaign from POF to fb ads i'm getting better conversion rate. I dont know what i'm doing bad, but I think it's too competitave ad network. ( I was promoting just dating offers there. )

P.S. Now, i'm promoting dating offers and getting hilarious CTR rate for dating offers. Maybe it's because of valentine day. lol.

Calling out user attributes is a time tested copywriting technique that still works if used properly.

On POF as a traffic source, yes it is competitive. But guess what, EVERY traffic source is competitive, unless you have found some niche sites and keeping that a secret.

There are a lot of people making great ROI's that I personally talk to and coach on a daily basis, not to mention my own campaigns. What's great about POF is it's affiliate friendliness and the ability to reach long term consistency.

Different traffic sources work in different ways, and some come easier to people and some don't. Go find the one that suits your style the best.
