Default Hosting Question for My CPA Campaign

Hi guys,

I'm starting another CPA campaign and my goal is to reach 1,000/day visitors this month then 2,000/day visitors on the next month.

My hosting is Hostgator Baby Plan and I have 7 websites on this account. My question is:

Can this web hosting handles my traffic goal?
Or I need to register another hosting? If yes, what type of hosting should I get?

Thanks,

Simon

it depends. are all 7 sites running Wordpress and do they get a lot of traffic? if you are using Wordpress, have you installed a caching plugin?

To be honest, the HostGator baby plan is pretty cheap. It should be fine while you are getting started, but once you start seeing some success you should upgrade.

All you need is a $35/month VPS and you can run all your sites off it. If 1 site starts getting a lot of traffic and runs a script that is heavy on server resources (Wordpress, forum software like vBulletin, other CMS's, etc..), then you can move it to its own VPS.

There's no way to know if your HostGator baby plan will handle it, because you don't know exactly how many websites have been crammed on the server you are on. From what I've heard about HostGator, they seem to be pretty decent for shared hosting though.

I agree with indexphp. You never know until you reach 1,000/day visitors. If your traffic is distributed evenly among your 7 sites, it should work out. But who knows?

All websites are running in WordPress and I only get 50-100 visitors per day with these 7 websites. I don't have caching plugin installed on these websites since I don't that it's helpful

Thanks for the answering and I'll just decrease my traffic goal and observe if my hosting can handle this traffic. I'm just starting in CPA marketing and don't still have enough funds for hosting since most of my budget is for PPC.

Thanks for the great answer.

install WP Super Cache on all your Wordpress sites. It will dramatically improve the performance from a server resources standpoint. It will make it so the server doesn't have to work so hard to serve each pageview

Thanks for the info. Just installed the plugin to all my websites and what I need to do now is observe if my hosting can handle my targeted traffic
