Default Traffic Vance beginning deposit typical?

Hi all,

Trying to sign up for Traffic Vance and the reply email states that it takes a deposit of $1000US to start.

I see Traffic Vance mentioned a lot here on Warrior Forum (and else where), but the first I heard of that amount. Usually, it seems $100 or so is appropriate beginning funds for a new account at other places.

What say you Warriors who use Traffic Vance? Is this no big deal. Will it pay off?

I wouldn't mind after a few successful campaigns, but... well, what do you think?

Thanks!

Thanks,

Yes it's $1k without exception usually.

Is it worth it? There's no guarantee you will get your money back. You might have to spend twice that before you see any kind of ROI. That's true for any traffic source though.

I couldn't agree more. But I personally like LeadImpact better than directppv, LI has much more quality traffic. Go with LeadImpact ($200 min deposit) if you are a cpv/ppv noob.

As a newbie, do you recommend any url scrapers!

Don't use any url scrapers if you are just starting with PPV. The best work IMO is done by hand, manually.

Trafficvance is $1000.. if your just getting started maybe check out a cheaper ppv network like media traffic, leadimpact, directcpv or adonnetwork

Thanks for the responses. TV sent another email saying that the $1000 deposit is refundable upon requests. So, if after spending $200, say, I could get my $800 back.

But, now they have added:

Quote:
Also, we are requiring that all marketers be endorsed by an active Trafficvance advertiser. Please have a current advertiser with a minimum of $50/day spend send me their endorsement.
That certainly is good news for you CPV Gurus, huh? Yeah, I guess they are telling me to go away (and maybe come back when I have grown up). We have been doing Internet Selling and Marketing since 1998. Even some PPC/Affiliates stuff, but I guess it isn't enough for them.

Oh, well, plan B ;-)

Thanks,

It was $2k a year or two ago. I think if you got the money and the knowledge then it's worth the investment. If you don't, go with LI or Adon
