I get a lot of people asking me how to get accpeted into CPA networks. Here's some tips.. 1. Do not sound like you're a newbie when you get the phone call. 2. You may be asked if you are with another network. Always say yes and name a couple (like Hydra, NeverBlue). Then you can also add something like `my affiliate manager is really good and helps me a lot` - this will further convince them! 3. Know all the buzz words like doing zip submits, email submits, drving traffic with ppc, media buys 4. Have at least one web site because they will ask for your web site. 5. Sound confident and just say that you will drive a lot of traffic to thier offers. 6. Ask if they have a list of well converting keywords as one of the last questions and that will convince them that you know what you're talking about. 7. If you say you are doing PPC then they may ask ``How much do you spend on PPC`` - You can lie a little bit here if you want to - besides it`s just a little white lie because eventually you will be spending a lot more!. Hope this helps... |

Completely agree with 1-6, but 7 not so much. I wouldn't recommend lying about something like this. If they start questioning your PPC campaigns you just ruined your chances of getting into that network unless you are a pretty good BSer. Many times, simply telling them you typically do organic and email traffic but are venturing into PPC is good enough. When you start lying about numbers and they ask you questions, you're just digging your own grave. Also, something to add to #2: It helps to know the name of one affiliate manager at each network you tell them you are with. Sometimes after telling them which networks I am with they have asked the affiliate managers name at that network. |

I wouldn't recommend anyone lie about anything. That could bite ya in the ass real quick. But, other than that I'd say I agree with everything else you said.

just be straight forward, tell them you are new. It's not really smart to start a business relationship by lying.

I would start with second tier networks and use as leverage. This is something that can help tremendously in getting into the larger, more established networks. Most people go right to the top and start applying to the top few CPA networks. When they are asked what other CPA networks they have worked with, they say none and then get denied. If you start applying to the 2nd tier networks, it’s substantially easier to get accepted and there may be auto- approval so no phone screening. Once you get accepted to one or two of these networks, then you should approach the larger networks.

Boogie, That's even more great advice. When I first started applying to CPA networks a few years back I always was honest with them and told them I had success promoting clickbank products and wanted to venture into CPA marketing. These were mainly 2nd tier networks as well and I got accepted every time! Peerfly is a great one to start with - they don't turn away many people. |

Great tips. But i also wouldn't recommend lying, the biggest tip IMO is to be honest. |

When I started out, I told them I was a beginner but done 1 - 2 websites with SEO but not working for me. Be honest is good. However, not everyone will accept. I got some rejection too, but is alright. Keep moving |

There are a bunch of networks where you never get the phone call. Some even accept you without a website. It's all about filling in the right things on the registration form, and you are fine. And as a newbie, you don't need to be in a lot of networks anyway. Once you are not a newbie anymore, getting accepted is no problem ![]() Allen |
