Hi, I have a 3-year-old food blog and I've been working with different networks on CPM basis, and using Adsense, but as you can guess I don't earn much. So I decided to apply to CPA networks. I've been searching and reading about CPA marketing for a couple of weeks, I've read so many posts here in this form, so thank you all for sharing your experiences with newbies like me. They are as valuable as gold for me, I'm learning a lot from you! I have some worries using my blog in this field though. First, a food blog could be limited for offers. Then it might be bad for my loyal readers and in terms of my blog's reputation. Also, when applying to CPA networks, I'm not sure if it's good to write a food blog's address in the website section. They might not take it serious. So I think it will be better to build a new website. However, isn't it better to see the offers first, decide on the niche and then build a website? Also, that new website will not get the same traffic as my blog, I need to work on it for some time, so I need to wait for some time too! I can't decide. Any reply is much appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

Website isnt necessary to get accepted to CPA network what networks require from you is to have basic idea about how to generate traffic etc . In CPA we mainly don`t need websites as we do drive traffic to our custom landing pages(designed according to offer) . How ever if you write in application you will drive traffic through your website than you will have to mention your website and there is no need to make other one just be honest .. let them know how you will drive traffic and that's it . also make sure you call CPA Network after submitting your application . Why CPA Networks do this ? just to stop fraudsters from getting in their CPA Network , Just be easy Getting accepted into a CPA Network is not a problem i mean its just like you do contact different people in your daily life.. Nothing new so yes there is one condition be honest and you are good to go |

I completely agree with KJ. Go ahead and just use your blog, call the network immediately after you submit your application, and tell them how you plan to promote their offers. Be confidence & honest and you will be fine. |

Hey there, My advice is don't let those details hold you back. It does NOT really matter what kind of site you show to the network while applying to it, BUT you should include some ads or banners on the site so that they can see how you are going to drive traffic to their offers. A blog about food is fine, ideally, show them a site about something they have offers about. It won't harm your or your blog's reputation in any way if you put on it a good offer. An offer your visitors will be interested in and that will provide value. |
