AdBrite IMO, is trash. You can give it a shot though.

Stick to Adsense. You pay more for clicks, but works much better in 99% of all all cases. I suppose there are some people who're making bank with it like Imran, but really, those are the exception rather than the rule. |

my advice for you is to promote something very popular like weight loss because their publishers are not very solid you find sites like wallpapers download..etc

The truth of the matter is that every type of advertising (including Adbrite) has the potential to generate profits. You can even make money advertising on traffic exchanges. The key is to match your offer with the demographics/interests of the audience each advertising venue reaches. With Adbrite, you definitely want to choose the websites and you want to check to see that your ad will be in a position where it will be seen. You should also take advantage of the opportunity to rotate banners as part of your testing. If you do run of network type of ads, you will end up with impressions on sites that are totally irrelevant or where ads are at bottom of website far below any useful content. However you advertise, you need to be prepared to test everything and expect that some campaigns will work and some won't. Robyn |

I think its how well your banner is. Does it invoke people to click? Also when they click does the page convince them to sign up? Moe |

AdBrite is not specialized in CPA, they are probably just offering it to try and get even more business. You should stick to companies that are ONLY cpa, or ONLY cpc or whatever. |

Robyn is the most on target. Adbrite isn't awesome traffic but like anything, if you track by referring site and the time of the day, you'll find some decent traffic. If you're a beginner, Adbrite may be a little discouraging, as you'll most likely have to lose a little money out of the gate to figure out what works. But for anyone with content network skills, it's worth a go. |

Had to comment on this thread... AdBrite is great if you're willing to put the time in. For AdBrite...I never start a blind campaign on AdBrite, once I have found a profitable combo (Audience Demographics --> Creative --> Landing Page --> Offer) then I copy the campaign over to AdBrite. When doing this...it is almost always profitable after proper optimization as with any campaign. Mass market offers do work better on AdBrite than Niche specific. Email submits work great by the way. Just keep your budgeting low if your on a tight budget...they generally go slightly over. Good Luck to You! |

I love how easy and transparent AdBrite is. But like some others, I had zero conversions. Paid much more on Google and Microsoft for traffic, but the visitors actually bought stuff. Still have money deposited there, so I'll probably try it again, but initial trails were disappointing. |

adbrite traffic, in my opinion, is TRASH. pure trash. better taking your money and using it for toilet paper or throwing it away... |

Well from my understanding if you are a big player with adbrite and give them your info they will charge you on conversion. Kind of like an exclusive member to Adbrite. I am thinking they are like filler ads when a website does not have any ads to show they show them for like 1cent cpm or something. Those people are banking but the people with small budgets hard to compete. That is my opinion. |

I had to keep expanding my demographic targeting to get impressions. But after a week of tweaking I'm going elsewhere.

BidVertiser has worked fairly well for me. They are giving away free $20 vouchers to those that want them.

their ppv (full page ads) is good, but It must be really targeted like for example: you are working on a cpa offer, if the niche is hair loss. find the site in site directory advertise on it use cpc (text), cpc banners (cpc), full page ads (if they allow it) test for 10 $ each that's 20-30$, if you get the ROI. the go get it... |

Frankly, I recommend pulse 360 or adsonar over those 2. We connect our affiliates with representatives over there that take good care of them |

I'd have to agree with the majority of the people, stay away from the smaller networks and stick to MSN, Yahoo, and Google. You'll see your budget disappear really quick although networks like adbrite have a much lower cost per click. My conclusion is that the ads are not as targeted and I'm not sure if their click fraud prevention is all that either. It must be something because I go through more money with these networks than I do with Adwords and I pay 5x more for clicks.
