Just decided to delete the whole post.

Wrong.

You seem to imply that deletion of the threads has something to do with Luke's reputation. He may have requested deletion of those threads for all you know - and I expect this one will go the same route.

Luke has posted that the WF is not his support desk and answering PM's is not done often. He has told students how to reach him and to be patient and he will reply. I don't know if the posts reflect problems with his support setup or impatience of his students - could be both.

Members ARE moderators on the WF. There is no need for explanations when threads are deleted and starting another thread on the same topic is a bad idea.

I'd add that the subject line, in my opinion, is a VERY bad idea.

Yes, I totally agree...

I don't think they should have deleted EVERY post, just the one's that were meaning less and duplicate if any.

Ummmm .... yes .... but not for the bad-taste headline my friend, but out of concern for Luke. This is the worst form of attention-grabbing headline anyone could produce and if this is what you think "good copy" is then there's no hope for any of us.

You really do not want Admin to work extra picking over your post...that is not how it is going to work, as you can see...get real. Why risk it.

Once you have Admin doing extra housekeeping because of you, be prepared to pay the price.
