i've been turned down by 2 and that's very useful info for me.

hopefully the next time i apply i can get approved.

Hmm have some pretty strict rules when it comes to approving your application for the different networks. But here is how I have managed to Join the most of them:
1. Hosting & Domain. This is like the number one. There is different types of hostingcompanys. You can go with the one that you prefer.

Domain: Ive always used godaddy.com and are a very satisfied customer. So I suggest that you buy your domain at godaddy.com and setup your free email account with the domain that you buy.

ex: "name@aseriousdomainname.com"

2. If you already have a website that is looking good and is specified on a niche, then great. But for those who don't: Download WordPress, and buy a nice theme (will probably earn that back if you get approved). Or if you dont want to spend the money, just download a free theme. Google is your friend.

Once you've installed and configured your WP-installation post some premium articles. Buy them or make them yourself. But remember: Good quality.

If you have access to the mySQL-database (might be some easier ways to do this) - Login and check the MYSQL-tables for the WP-install. Find your posts, and set back the date so they think that you've been up and running for a long time.

That's basiclly it. You will get an email saying "Call Us" or "We will call you soon". I really suggest that YOU should call them. That gives the impression that you are serious with your business.

When you call them, be calm. And dont be nervous. Thats the worst thing you can be. Once the other guy answer, its time to answer some questions. The questions that often come is:
How many visitors do you have?
For long have you been working with CPA?
How do you get traffic to your webbsite?
What type of offers will you promote for us?
How will you promote our offers?

Your answers should be realistic of course. Drive traffic via Youtube, facebook and other social media. Promote via writing about the offers etc. Be creative, and be sure to read the policy for each CPA-company.

Don't worry too much about the site. It's not very difficult to create one using WP or even if you don't want to do that or don't have the time or don't know creating sites with WP, no worries, you can buy one from the complete site section for quite cheap. Some even go as low as 25-30 bucks. Just twick them a bit, plug your info on them and you're set as far as the web site requirements to apply to CPAs is concerned.
Also, for those who want to learn the easy way to create their first WP blog, make sure you become a War Room member and then you'll see an amazing 60 page guide that you can download for free that will literally take you by the hand in creating your very first Word Press site/blog, just like the pros.

While a script is good, you also have to educate yourself on the standard CPA jargon and lingo, because I've had several AMs (affiliate managers) toss out those terms very casually while talking in the past, expecting me to fully understand and go along with their conversation. Obviously in this case just trying to follow along with a script would become painfully obvious!

Honestly, reading this thread makes me think...it really is time to forget the obsession about how to get accepted.

Some people here talk as if getting accepted was the hardest part of making money with CPA!

I have been making money with CPA networks for ages now, and I am working closely with the network owners at times. Let me tell you this, and you may not be aware of it:

Most networks won't care whether you are a newbie. The reason the approval process is so elaborate because they want to weed out the scammers and BlueFartters. If you don't count yourself among those groups, you have nothing to worry.

Be upfront that you are a newbie to CPA. Trust me. The networks will accept you if you show that you intend to work within the rules and that you are willing to learn. They have no reason to not accept you - after all, they make money through YOU. Just be upfront, and in some cases this will even be to your benefit because your affiliate managers might be more willing to help you get started.

Lying your way all through an approval interview, using all the lingo without even knowing what you're doing - it's just silly and useless. You don't need to do that. And it might backfire in the situations where you want to get help from your AMs about basic things.

Yes, there are networks less likely to accept newbies, but most of the networks WILL accept you.

That is my experience at least. I think this "lying through your teeth" approach and people making $49 ebooks on *merely getting accepted* is really getting out of hand.

Just my 2 cents.

One more added thing, that I have found works. Usually on the application they will ask you how much you usually make.

I usually put $5,000 to $8,000 a month depending on what you are promoting... Anybody just starting out if you want to get accepted you just have to put this even if you don't. They are picky and want real marketers on their networks pushing traffic. If you want to get started you have to bend the truth a little I have found.

Ohh, and write down all your answers on the app before you call so you can reference what you put down. Because they will ask you on the phone pretty much what you put on the app. So sound like you have been around the block a few times. They will also ask you how you got started, and will want you to talk about yourself to see. So rehearse like crazy just before you call so its fresh in your mind.

I was nervous the first couple of times on the phone with reps, but got accepted to every one I applied to.

It depends, yes some of the networks will take it. When I was first started, I sent in my portfolio site (I was a freelance t-shirt designer) to most of them, and I have no problem getting approved.

My blog is under construction at this moment, I'm changing a theme and other stuff, I'll keep you posted when it's ready.

Let me tell you this, and you may not be aware of it: Most networks won't care whether you are a newbie. The reason the approval process is so elaborate because they want to weed out the scammers and BlueFartters. If you don't count yourself among those groups, you have nothing to worry. Be upfront that you are a newbie to CPA. Trust me. The networks will accept you if you show that you intend to work within the rules and that you are willing to learn. They have no reason to not accept you - after all, they make money through YOU. Just be upfront, and in some cases this will even be to your benefit because your affiliate managers might be more willing to help you get started. Lying your way all through an approval interview, using all the lingo without even knowing what you're doing - it's just silly and useless. You don't need to do that. And it might backfire in the situations where you want to get help from your AMs about basic things. Yes, there are networks less likely to accept newbies, but most of the networks WILL accept you. That is my experience at least. I think this "lying through your teeth" approach and people making $49 ebooks on merely getting accepted is really getting out of hand. Just my 2 cents.
