Default Banned from adcenter. That was quick.

I tried to run one cpa and two clickbank products both using direct linking and I already got my account banned. Is this typical?

Sorry to hear about that. Both Google adwords and adcenter are not allowed direct linking now.

Stick with the winning solution

Something similar happened to me, on Adwords, and I have no idea why.

I added 10 US$ to the account, setup a campaign but did not run it, kept it on pause as I wanted to do further research. A day later, I get an e-mail that my account is suspended, I just closed the account and will be getting the refund in a few days...

This is the e-mail I got from them:

"It has come to our attention that your Google AdWords account does not comply with our Terms of Service and Advertising Policies. As a result, your account and any related accounts have been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google. Please be aware that you are prohibited from possessing or creating any other AdWords accounts, both now and in the future."

It honestly really depends on the offers you were running, i wouldn't say it's common but at the same time i wouldnt say it's too uncommon.. maybe try 7search? they are a little more lenient

No doubt, for direct linking to those offers.

I know email submits are quickly falling out of favor with a lot of advertising networks. And diet products, especially rebills, are looked at with a lot more scrutiny now too.

According to others in this thread, it may be because you are direct linking, but I wasn't aware they banned accounts for that. I thought they just disapproved that group.

Either way, it's easy to recreate an Adcenter account. So you can just start over with a clean slate.

I don't think they have a problem with direct linking to the merchants site. When I spoke to my rep., she stated adCenter welcomed affiliates and that what gets most in trouble is the use of trademarks and bidding on trademark terms

There was a time when this would not have caused a blip on the radar. These days things are changing. It's very difficult us when we do not know exactly what is against their TOS and what is not.

I feel just awful for you iconoclast, even worse news is that this is not likely reversible to my knowledge.

Adcenter allows direct linking, it appears he is talking about Adwords. ( two totally different networks when it comes to TOS).

Depends of the kind of clickbank and cpa offers you were running. MSN throttle traffic if they don't like the offers I'm running.

Not only Google adwords and adcenter but also most of the big networks don't allow direct linking. you should have a landing page to throw your visitors. then to your affiliate link. So its kind of typical dude
That's why i always suggest everybody to read before you take any step.

This kind of things are not very common neither very uncommon. Direct linking will make some kind of trouble sooner or later.

I had the same thing happen. Called them to find out why and they gave me no definitive answer. Lame! I didn't even get a campaign going. It was my first ever adCenter account.
Now, how do I get around this and establish another account?

Very typical. Adcenter is almost as bad as AdWords. Make sure you are running your traffic to a blog that is atleast a couple weeks old and is home to a good amount of content. Then on the blog put ads everywhere with your CB aff. link embedded.

Hope that someone clicks, or send them to a blog post that presells the customer.

Oh and one last thing. I think AdCenter might hate Wordpress (its a rumor) so yeah, be careful.

If you use Facebook Ads, then this is definitely for you...

They dont' like any email submits at all. They've got too many complaints about them in the past I bet. Don't run those. Diet offers are iffy too. It's got to be a legit one and not a flog pushing the latest fad.

Build out a real site and then send traffic to that. Then you'll be fine as long as you offer unique and valuable content.

Hey 'Coach, can we promote COUPON offers (I think they are *e-mail submits*, too) IF we build out a REAL site and whatnot?

Also, can we run the SKIN CARE vertical over on AdCenter without worrying about getting *banned* as long as we build-out a FULL (i.e. *real*) site?

Last but not least, what is it about *diet* (weight loss, health, etc.) that makes AdCenter/Bing not *like* it?

(I am running on Bing/AdCenter, just to let you know and NOT "AdWords", LOL!)

Thanks!

You have to get a dedicated account rep. Get them on the phone and explain what you want to do. Buy a domain and mask it. Money in the bank.
