Default CTR's As High as 5% but No Conversions

Hey guys,

So I've been finding some serious goldmining spots in Adwords promoting Clickbank and CPA offers with direct linking. I can get up to 40 TARGETED clicks in a matter of couple of hours but not a single lead or conversion!

As far as my ad goes, I do not use any misleading or "hype" information to get the clicks (everything seems relevant). The only advice I can find is it to raise the CTR (which I've abviously done). I was also told to try and target buyers only. How should I go about doing this? Any suggestions?

The problem could be as a result of so many problems.

Some of them are

1. Poor converting offer ;

2. Mab be using non targeted keywords ;

3. inconsistency between your ad copy and landing page .

These 3 are some .

Please , check these 3 .

I hope it helps .

Mike

In my experience working with PPC affiliates, most test a campaign by direct linking and then build a content site if they convert. Since you haven't converted at all you may want to look at your competition and tweak your campaign to convert before building a landing page. It never hurts to have a landing page and most top tier engines require one, but do your research before you invest time in a landing page because the users still may be "gone baby gone"!

Yep, all good points. It sounds like the clear case of the landing page not delivering on the creative's promise. And remember that most people read from top left to bottom right.

Nevermind....Just got a few conversions!!! You guys were right, I kept tweaking up the ad filling in the gaps so now it seems to be working. Getting lower click-throughs but I'm seeing conversions. Ill see how this goes.
