Default First PPV success.

After reading tons of forum threads, I did it. Yes SEO is really different stuff. I'm a SEO guy with 5 years of experience, built massive projects untill Google gone crazy. Now started investing in my skills with paid traffic.

My first profitable campaign in PPV started making me about $20/day. Not much but at least I know what to do next. The reason of bad luck these days - shave or scrub. The same offer converts on other network really good. So, split testing offers between networks - is the fist that I would do.

Thanks for your help, warriors. I'm moving to the next lever. Want to apply to trafficvance and starting with mobile traffic.

p.s. For noobs, never give up, read, try, spend, test. When you spend money - you learn. I have changed a couple of banners on my SEO project, and profit increased on 30-40%. Understanding internet marketing is always good. So invest in yourself.

Congrats! I can totally relate to your story. Because mine is basically the same when it comes the recent SEO nonsense. So I switched to paid advertising too. PPC on infolinks and I have one successful campaign there too. Your advice is very true. Read, Try, Spend, & Test is the key.

I tried PPV in the past but didn't have much success. But I didn't really try hard to learn it because I was high on the seo juice. But I think I'll revisit it. I just need to find the right wso or thread that does a great job of walking a newbie through the ins and outs. I think my problem was my landing pages and the keyword selection. Were there any particular threads or WSOs that really helped you approach PPV in the right way?

Thanks for sharing this. I was literally just thinking before I logged in I need to try PPV again.

Hi Pava,

Nice work there. I'm starting out on PPV too. I see you have come quite a long way from when you just started. So I would really appreciate if you could share some pointers with me on some of the mistakes that you made and some changes that you made that saw drastic increase in performance. I'm starting out on PPV using Lead Impact with W4. However, I have not met with much success yet. I have currently spent $200 only to get $40 in revenue which is a lost of $160. Most of the conversions of just one off conversion which I'm unable to continue getting despite running the campaign further.

For the URLs to bid, I would do a google search on the related keywords and scrape the first 10-20 URL for each keyword manually. I will also do a search on Alexa and scrape the first 10-20 URL manually.

I was thinking that since Lead Impact's pop up is 800X600, will the offer page not load well after the user has clicked on my landing page. Should I be resizing the advertisement window to full size so that the offer page can be viewed properly or should I open a new window upon clicking on the landing page to open the offer page in a new full window? Did you use the target="_blank" as suggested in some threads? Does it make the difference because it will open a new tab of the same size and user has to resize manually.

I was wondering if people can share with me your success on how to select URLs to bid on and how you work your landing pages and tips on offer selection?

Any questions on my campaigns and advice/help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Easier. But SEO wins in long term if google will not smack you.

This forum + blogs I searched in google. I'm not a profi, just started... believe me. How can you explain when the same ladning page but with javascript countdown has better CTR but worse sales ratio? It is all about testing stuff. And experience.

Motivated Newbie - read this forum. You will find answers. It is normal when you loose when starting a new compaign.

Hi Pava,

Just wondering if your campaign uses direct land, or you use a squeeze page to capture the leads? My facebook campaign just started and the $ is raising like a roller coaster.
