Call me a tard but is there a trick to getting an advertiser to accept you to promote banners?

It seems I get rejected for even the simplest promotions.

I have contacted companies directly in the past and told me to use CJ and they would approve me but it's a real hassle doing this constantly.

The problem with this is that you also have a 7day and 3month EPC. Some of the top tier companies don't accept people with a EPC lower than what they are looking for. The only solution is to build up your EPC by partnering with advertisers who actually accept you and generate sales until the point where you have proven that you are a good affiliate.
