Default People Still Falling For ACAI?

Are people still buying this garbage? Or should I switch to other supplements like Colon Cleanses or something?

Sometimes it is not so much the product as it is unscrupulous business practices such as shipping orders within a trial period and never stop billing for shipping even after cancellation.

It's still doing well, and there are many "email marketers" that hit those offers to their mailing list day after day, and the reason they are doing it, is because people are responding to the offers. Before Acai hit main-stream, the Colon offers and Hoodia offers were doing well, now those have died down a bit and Acai has taken over.

It's just a matter of time before the next big thing comes along with regards to "Miracle Health or Weight Loss" to replace Acai.

I have an offer running for an ACAI trial and the funny thing is...when all the news and suits started popping up...my conversion rate skyrocketed!

Like they say, there is not bad press!

These offer will be pulled down in no time, I can guarantee that.
So either find a new offer or not promoting it at all.
Same things for Grant market based on my observation.

I'd rank Acai right up there with Hoodia and Oolong Tea....of little value for robust health and no value for losing weight.

Colon cleansing is the real deal but it has it's share of scammers selling products of little value or vastly overpriced "systems". Unfortunately, cleansing is being promoted for weight loss and while it's possible to lose 5-20 lbs from a cleanse, it won't stay off unless the diet is improved. The real benefit is after the initial cleanse and the metabolism is working right again. It's a slow process and doesn't magically happen in 7 days.
I'm just beginning to work on a campaign selling products for long term health with many pages of content because people need help and cleansing is not an easy process. Results do come and offer opportunity for repeat sales instead of the quickie Acai buck.
I grew up with herbs and they do work (regardless what the FDA says) but they are slow. Fast weight loss requires lots of laxatives and not leaving the house for a week!

It will keep going for quite some time yet, I wouldn't worry, whether or not the free trial model will have longetvity is another matter but Acai itself has mileage in it , people are still making a killing and while it has eased off the EPC etc of these offers is still sky high.

There are still weight loss products out there selling which are years old and offer no real weight loss benefit.

Billions of fat people out there, big market, all looking for the next miracle bullet.

Once Acai finally fades out the next best thing will be waiting.

Anyone promoting Acai via ppc? and how do you do it? =p Seems like google banned "acai" so it's impossible to make an adwords ad with the word acai in it.

I just tested this and it lets me choose acai as a keyword, infact it even suggests acai as a keyword.

Did you create your advert and then get it banned by a human after?

If I type in acai into Google, it's still plastered with ads.

If they banned it, it's a crap ban :-)

When you do a search on Google "organic search" results have the keyword "acai" blanked, see screenshot below, but I don't believe that means you can't use it for PPC.

I was going to play with ppc, but gogle won't even aprove my ad because it has "acai" in it which appears to be a banned word. Of course, every single google ad that comes up when you search for acai anythig has the word acai in it. SO I don't know, maybe they just recently banned it but won't enforce it on the people who already had their ads running?

I would like to point out that most of the other diet offers are still around... You can always promote with "works better than X" advertising for some of the old stuff that most of the people around have forgotten, and for which the various RipOff reports are, by now, buried.

The vast majority of the complaints I have seen are not about the supplement itself, but the advertisers TOS, not answering the phone to accept cancellations etc.

I still have these offers out their, and they are doing well!

If I would be ask something like that I rather chose food supplements. Just like Ginkgo Biloba it is very nice food supplements because it helps for people who have shorter memory.

Yeah Acai is definitely huge at the moment but I suspect its going to come all crashing down due to some "MLM" people making spurious claims abouts its medical efficacy. Whats the bet the gov'mint decide to regulate the hell out of advertising for it etc

Acai is still going *really* well for us. I kid you not, we are currently pushing Acai as a supplement, as a colon cleanse, and as a wrinkle cream.... Errm... I should add that it's 3 different products, lol.
