I think review sites will never lose their appeal as long as you keep them helpful.

Also new product reviews right at launch can do very well.

How do you make review pages "personal" if you are reviewing prodcuts you have never used? That has been my struggle. I don't want mislead people into thinking I've used a product and it works or whatever if I really haven't....any suggestions how to still create a "personal" type review page?

Hey sting,

that is a sincere question I appreciate that.

What I do is if I have not personally bought one or more I still scour the web for all I can find including customer reviews and promotion reviews, you can find some very interesting and detailed tidbits that way.

The bottom line is you dont want to just say thumbs up or thumbs down but also offer the why.

Many products and services can be compared simply by looking over the features and benefits very closely.

If you give the impression that you really care with some helpful info (even though that click may pay you alot of money) then I think you have earned every dollar at that point.

There is a great PPC wordpress template for review sites. I have been using this template and also affiliatheme. net

Review sites should have the following:

1. A great review haha ( Legit information and possible before and after story)

Through my testing, I have seen that before/after stories convert very well. The reason is people can relate better them it.

2. KISS - AKA Keep It Simple Stupid haha (1st grade I learned this)

Keep your review site simple and effective, don't go crazy with graphics and nonsense, give people the information they want to read.

3. I would use like I mentioned above, a PPC Wordpress template and add in Platinum SEO and Google Site Map Plugins. (If your advertising through PPC on google)
