For any new traffic source, I try to keep in mind that I will probably spend $2000 before anything works out or I can start optimizing everything. 5k is a safer figure. This gives you enough to create and collect data on several campaigns and hopefully pull a winner out of one.

Depends. If you're moving from one banner network to another and know what is generally working, have profitable banners and LPs, not necessarily. If you are moving from search to banners, quite likely.

I would agree with JustinDupre - especially within Adknowledge. Adknowledge sends traffic based on behavioral analytics and contextual targeting, so optimizations and discounting are more in-depth, but can take some time.

I dont see anything in your post mentioning the offer. While its of course good to have a solid chunk for testing, on a per-offer basis, I certainly wouldnt spend $1000 trying to make an email submit profitable. Ultimately, depends on the traffic source AND the offer(s). Hard to answer without that.. |

Actually I am not into PPC. I don't spend a lot with them. When ever I start a new big business site I just initially invest a little to inform the web that there is a site ![]() that's it. |

Quite a big list, though in a matter of two months it will have to be updated, companies in this industry keep on popping from nowhere and increase the competition on every customer.
