Monetisation of an international site

My experience of monetisation is fairly limited, i run google adsense on quite a number of sites, so am familiar with that, i have also learned a bit more about affiliate marketing. So far neither of these methods seem ideal for my new site, we get visits from all over so im guessing affiliate sales would be tough, along with the hugely varying content needs. Adsense might be ok, but payouts as we all know are very limited in all but the tougher niches, so the question is what way should i go?

I have the ability to place custom ads on each page individually, although as the site grows that will be quite tough to manage, i would also like something that can payout via a business paypal account.

You could add CPA banners related to your content and make them visible only to visitors coming from certain countries, and maybe show AdSense ad's for the rest. There are some services that help you out with that. Just by searching the keyword "ad geo redirect" in Google, I've found two sites:
GeoTargeting Traffic Managment Software. Redirect targeted traffic by IP address, country, language (geotargeting) traffic sorting software.
Geo-Ads PHP ~ Geo-Targeting Ad Management Software
However, I have never tested this, and I do not know if it works.

Clever site.

The first thing I notice is no incentive for capturing the leads that visit.

Give away a Gift in the form of a free ebook, or newsletter like "7 ways to....Whatever"

But you see once you have a list, you can then promote over and over to them while giving them valuable tips along the way.

You will find that a list that loves you can be very profitable in CPA and in any other form of marketing as well.
