I've compiled a list of questions that CPA networks might be asking you on the phone, instant messenger, application or email when applying. At least for a phone interview it might be good to write down some answers and rehearse them first. Let us know if you have something that isn't listed here. * How do you promote your offers? / How do you get traffic? * How much traffic are you getting? / How many unique visitors per month? * What are you looking for in an ad campaign to be successful? * What method do you have for testing to see if a campaign works? * What are your verticals? / What kind of offers are you interested in? * Can I see one of your websites/landing pages? * Do you have incentive offers on your website? / Are you going to use incentives? * Are you with any other affiliate companies? / With what CPA networks have you been working with so far? * How long have you been doing Internet Marketing? * What has worked for you in the past? / What did you used to do in the past? * How did you hear about us? * Will you create your own landing pages? * What are your goals? * What offers are you currently running that are doing well? *** PPC and media buys related questions: * What PPC/Media networks are you using? * How much money do you spend? / How much do you spend on advertising? * What is your ROI? * What do keywords cost in the markets you are looking at? * Do you use sponsored links? |

Hey Mike, Thanks for the interview questions. I had my first interview with Copeac.. I fumbled through the questions. I got lucky and was accepted. I wish I read this post first. |

Nice list . It could help lots of newbies. But , be aware that if you can't persuade your affiliate manager that you are honest and serious , it would not be easy to get in . |

Nah, you didn't get lucky. You talked to them and proved you were a legitimate person, that's what they really wanted to know. I honestly think they don't care how experienced a marketer you are, they just want to know you are legit and don't intend to market fraudulently. |

Great list, thanks for sharing! However, I still think that most people overcomplicate the process of joining networks. In order to get accepted by most of them you don't need to be making a killing online, you just need to show that you're serious and have potential to make consistent money one day (soon, if possible ).Most people simply start submitting dozens of random applications and got all of them denied, but, instead of doing this, define an action plan, decide on what you intend to do, your traffic source(s), niche(s), type(s) of offers, etc... Then submit your application to a network that you really want to join and call the right away and explain what are your intentions. Show them that you're honest (very important, too many people using BH methods out there!) and focused, let the affiliate manager knows that you're not one of those guys who will try something new everyday, request a bunch of offers and never generate a commission and still complain when the affiliate managers don't show them how to be affiliates (it's not their obligation!). It's a lot of work for the affiliate managers and no return for the network. So show that you have made choices and intend to follow a plan. William

williamrs pretty much hit it right on. A lot of people over complicate things and unfortunately some go to the extent and script the answers. Most people calling to give you the interview have a good understanding of internet marketing and can tell if you are lying. Networks really just want to make sure you are who you say you are and you are honestly in it to try and make money. Trying to hype or oversell yourself is silly and just makes you look foolish. Be who you are, tell the network what you know, what you plan to do, and what your goals are. Always be honest and you really won't have much of a problem getting in. Brian |

Mike pretty much has it on point but most networks only ask about a quarter of that. The main thing is to not only verifying that your a real person but; do you know what your doing somewhat? how long have you been doing IM? Any other networks you work with? What offers are you currently running?
