I have seen this term here a lot, but I am none too sure what it really means. What are "black hat" techniques? I don't want to know so that I can use them. I want to know so that I don't conduct my business this way.

Hi Moneynow, There are plenty Black Hat Forums that you can find. Black Hat is a category that could be so simple like a misleading Fake Avatar of a Beautiful model, or it could go to the really dark side so low that a person could hack your accounts and wipe you out. Blackhat could just be a kid who wants to break your site just for fun. There is also grey hat. Even some white hat is not so white. Some people have that Video Game Mentality and think it is OK to find ways to beat the system. There are so many Black Hat techniques all around us that some exist that we do not even know about! If a new Social site or new Product of any kind, comes out tommorow...then the day after tommorow there will be people looking for ways to cut corners and figure out how to exploit it. |
