Does Myspace Marketing Still Work?

I remember when it was just starting out, people were making a KILLING marketing (i.e. spamming) myspace.

Does anyone here know if its still profitable? Its recently sparked my interest again, but I always assumed it was oversaturated LOL.

5,000+ and you have some suitable aff offers (that
your AM doesn't mind you promoting at MySpace)
then give it a go. Just make sure it's an account
you don't really give a care about since MySpace
might ban you

Myspace definatley still works.. especially for this industry

try posting a YouTube video that is farely generic and tell others they can use it to generate leads for themselves as well

Many people will post it on their Myspace, facebook and other social sites

yes i agree i think if people are using myspace to promote how do they do this? they might just be sending offers/messages to their friends they have added on so they get those hits/views to their site...is this it?

You can search MySpace groups by using your niche
keywords and adding friends from the resulting groups
(ideally you should use a bot for adding friends/sending
friends requests), you can use the "BROWSE" feature
to narrow your target market, you can use GOOGLE's
ADVANCED SEARCH feature to locate MySpace blogs,
profiles and groups containing relevant keywords.

MySpace is a GOLD MINE..

You have to be adding people that are active users also you want to be adding value with an attractive myspace profile.

If you can give enough value and support you will get more traffic. You will leave a trail of your value. If you can do that on all facebook myspace and other sites the work becomes more easy other time and the money just increases.

I think facebook user's are more active now than myspace user's but facebook seems to be quite strict about spamming

but please keep in mind...
1. somthing that works for me, might not work for you.
2. its not a get rich quick thing, i dont believe in scams so keep in mind you will have to have atleast an hours work each day.

THE GROUPS THING DOESNT WORK... try it, you wont make a cent =]

MySpace is really cracking down on spammers. It's not worth the effort to promote anything through MySpace.

Hi Blogvibrations, i try to send you a PM but i don't have tne number required of posts to do it :S, i hope you can see this post and help me a little bit... actually im working hard on Myspace, spending many hrs in test, test and more tests... but i think im doing something wrong... im only make about $20 USD from it, may be can share some tips to helpme earn at least 10-20 USD per day...

im promoting dating sites and zip/email submit offers...

The group thing COULD work if it was an interesting group and all that...I know some groups that were started in 2005-2006 and are still growing bigger by the day. But of course you probably wouldn't make as much or have as much luck as you would in let's say pre-facebook era.
Myspace still works if you know MORE than one tactic to making it work, such as forums, amount of friends on an account, etc....otherwise forget it and move on to something else.

yes myspace still works, you just have to find a niche that is not saturated, (i dont think make money niche will do anything on myspace) find a normal niche, my girl is doing pretty good with a niche she chose, she likes the niche so its a fun thing to do for her, she is making at least 30 a day, and she keeps gettin better, im doing my own stuff on myspace and its going decent. You just have to be smart, the most important part to me is being natural with it, the minute you sound like your advertising something the people will click away.

You have to focus on talkin to them like your a friend and you care and your just adding value to them. Everyone is different you will have those rude people and you will have people that will thank you for watever your promoting...
