I am highly interested getting into the CPA Offer arena of Internet marketing (from info-products). It seems exciting and easy. One of the downsides I have read about is that you have to keep a close eye on each offer to make sure it is performing like you want it to and to also watch for expired offers. This scares me since I could possibly have a PPC campaign working for an expired offer, which would mean lots of money lost. Is keeping up and tracking each offer to make sure they are performing and not expired an easy thing to do? If you do find an expired offer, and you have lost money, how do you handle this? Take your losses and go on, or contact the Network and try to recoup your losses? Thanks. |

If the offer is expired, you cannot do anything as it is neither the merchant's or the affiliate network's fault. You affiliate link is not supposed to work. Therefore if you intend to do a lot of PPC, you must keep a tight eye on things and keep really good records of your conversions and money spent.

Yep. What derek said. Just about the only thing you can do is immediately stop running the campaign. If you're doing PPC, just pause it; then check any other CPA networks you're working with to see if the offer is running there. If so, modify the campaign and run with it again. BTW, it would be a good thing to work with a thoughtful affiliate manager that at least sends you a notification email prior to the offer's expiration. NeverBlue and MaxBounty both do this about 1 to 3 days before an offer expires. |

This is one of the most important things that you need as far as CPA offers are concerned , especially for E-mail/ZIP submits . What you need to do is to regularly check the status of the offer and if you find any thing wrong , you just stop it running . Mike |

I usually just replace it on the site with a similar offer.

This is definitely one of the most frustrating things about CPA The only thing you can do is make sure to keep a close eye on things, and replace with a similar offer (like others mentioned). It really does hurt when those hot converting offers close ![]() You can use offervault.com to see if the same offer is on other networks, however! That's a good option too, because companies often have relationships with more than one CPA network. |

Many networks send you an automated notification if a certain offer expires, and then they usually forward the traffic to a similar offer.

| Senior Warrior Member War Room Member | You can not avoid this situation at all. But , there are some techniques to minimize the risk . And , be aware that this is not applicable at all times. here is what you do ... You just select about 3 high converting offers and you rotate the offers using rotator script . Caution : Use it properly - not suitable with PPC traffic. I hope it helps . |
