| Dear Warriors, I have a question I hope you will help to answer. I have a guitar-related website with approximately 3'000 daily visitors and 500'000 monthly pageviews (and growing). Since the traffic on my site is a really really "cold traffic" (it's nearly impossible to sell them any affiliate products and things like that), I started thinking about CPM advertising. 1. Could you tell me what CPM (how much can I earn per 1'000 impressions) can I expect on a guitar-related website? I could be using 120x600, 300x600, 720x90 banners ... 2.Which ad networks would you recommend me? Thank you very much, Anze |

Do you squeeze names? You want to sell banner space right - (What about selling links?) |

When you say "affiliate products", do you mean guitar/music related ones? Because if you can't sell them something that's incredibly highly targeted to the source material on your site, I'm not overly convinced you can get them to click on much else, could be entirely wrong but often that holds water. You could try CPA and set up polls such as : Do you think X guitar is better than x Guitar Click here to vote and win a XXX I would have thought something in the music related business would be ok , Adsense suck for you ? Can you not set up an opt in on the site and them farm out a number of music related offers to the list ? My 2 cents.. SH | |

I will start building my list in 4 or 5 days, if everything goes as planned. And then I will start to provide my list with a lot of useful information and I will do some promotion of affiliate products. But, as I have said, my audience certainly does not have a buying mentality, which is kinda big problem. So, my AdSense ads average a CTR of approximately 0.3%, because my audience isn't really looking for any products AND I don't want the ads to be intrusive ... So actually with a $1 CPM banner I would be more than 5 times better off ... This is why I am asking if anyone of you know any good CPM network that would help me achieve $1 CPM earnings ... @SimonHarrison: I don't have any experience with CPA and I don't even know exactly what kind of advertising this is. Could you please tell me more about that and suggest me what to do? How difficult is it to get a website to a $2 or $3 earnings per 1000 pageviews? |

Hey try Clove Network. they having good rates. but the thing is rate depends on country from which you are getting traffic. For me i am getting a $0.50 per CPM as my traffic is from US, UK, Canada & India. for US, UK & Canada i am getting eCPM $1. but because of india traffic My eCPM is getting down. These guys even pay on weekly basis. so i suggest you to try this clovenetwork.com |
