Default incentivized traffic?

Sorry I have never understood it fully

Is incentivizing saying you get something for filling the cpa offer out?

I'm going to make a website about hot news topics,
and there will be a question like:

"Do you think obama is the best?
vote and recieve a free ipod"
etc.

And then they vote and will be forwarded to an offer.

Is that incentivizing?

You are fine. You are not incentivizing.

I always had the same problem with the term "Incetivized Traffic".

Never totally understood what that means...

Incentive traffic means that you are paying someone to complete an offer. For example if you get $10 for a lead, you pay them $5 or some prize or something to complete the offer for you.

Most of the networks do not allow cash incentives..incentives in the form of Points are ok with them..these points can later be redeemed for gifts/prizes.

No that wouldnt be incenting because "win a free ipod" is the offer itself.
Incenting would be something like ill pay you money or give u a prize to fill out the offer.

I must have misunderstood something here as I thought anything you offer a customer as an inducement to signup for something is incentivized. I had my site refused by several networks for directlyfree.com

Australia's biggest biz opp seekers list...

I am a little confused by this too...

Would giving away a free report or ebook to someone who fills out a CPA offer you promote be considered an incentive?

Thanks
