Sorry, pretty sure most cpa or affiliate marketing will run against CL's TOS and most cpa networks are probably not going to like it because the traffic is normally crappy. You can do it, but probably not without "running foul of their laws"

I still get some personals to my dating site (with CPA offers and affiliate links on it) but I have re-focused to Matching buyers and sellers, finding high ticket items that people are looking for and selling, just a few ways.

You only need phone verified accounts to post in certain sections of CL and only in certain cities.

CL is a gold mine!

I do use Richard (richardrm2@gmail.com) for CL PVAs. I tried a lot of them and found he offers the best price and quality PVAs with a quick turn-around.

CL is definitely on high watch for anything close to spam so it would be a good idea to make sure your ad is properly written so that it's not flagged although I'd avoid really deceptive ads even if they are approved as they will just devalue the website as people will just look at it as a home for spammers.

I'm just starting to use CPL/CPA with Craigslist and see a couple of simple ways to make use of it that should have little chance of getting flagged.

One way is to sell and/or give things away and link back to a site of your own for pictures and/or extra descriptions. A quick php script to display pictures inside of a page via get variables (e.g. whatever.php?pic=xxxxx) that displays offers related to the item in question might get a few leads. I used to do about the same thing when I sold on ebay way back when...craigslist items with ebay auctions down both sides of the picture display page.

Another would be to offer a real service to people in your area. Perhaps you are after a particular niche and have a variety of PPA offers related to it. Help people out by leading them to exactly what they are looking for. A real service with real benefit to others that puts money in your pocket.

Craigslist being designed to be a local area forum, I don't use it for non-local stuff.

If I wanted massive traffic for cheap, I'd place an ad on FARK or something. Cheap ads there (and other places) which could, properly used, make you a killing.

Well I have a software that enables me to find key posts based on keywords, it can then send an email over multiple gmail accounts with a built in pause that look totally innocent plus I send them to my blog as a reference. Never straight to an offer!!!

Never accused of spam! I actually get thanked sometimes. Once on my blog that is where they are exposed to great content and tips, my CPA offers, affiliate links, opt in and context links.

But it will still work one at a time as well.

Yes for posting certain types of ads and in certain cities. I make the most money from craigslist from matching buyers and sellers and responding to certain niche ads. Not by sending them straight to an ad or offer but to my content tips/resouce site. (that just happens to have offers on it)

I used Craigslist marketing when I was first starting out and by trial and error..in my opinion..there are better ways to promote.

But if you do use Craigslist, one tip i would recommend you keep in mind is try to stay as targeted as possible. Targeting relevance is the hardest part with Craigslist but get into a specific type of offers and make your Craigslist posts as relevant as possible.

You are in the position where you need to find all you can about craigslist from every resource you can. There is a ton of free and cheap info available. Only then should you go forward.
