Hi, I just wondered about all of these CPA networks to see weather or not if they can be trusted in terms of tracking all of the traffic that one sends them. For example, if one sends traffic for an email submission CPA promo and it eventually convert, then how sure are you that the CPA networks are going to reward you with that conversion? I've tested with some of the email CPA promos and I've realised that some of them don't reward you. In fact, I was surprised after speaking with them that there may be that 'one-off' occassion where the system fails to track it. Well, that didn't sound good to me so I've stopped doing email CPAs. Your thoughts? Am. |

No you can't. Test the same offer on multiple networks.

Thanks. But that clearly won't build up my confidence in doing CPAs.

I see your point Ambar, but the truth is....even with CPA's short comings there are still regular people raking in cash by the truckload....daily. |

there will always be tracking discrepancies. always but cpa networks are not trying to scam you out of money. the more money they can pay affiliates, the more affiliates will run their offers. here's best practices for tracking your outgoing cpa networking traffic. get your own tracking system. you can use a hosted one or install one on your server if you have one then create a tracking link. have the destination url be your affiliate link provided by the cpa network. that will cookie any visitor that you send to the cpa network's offer. then you have to have them install your tracking pixel on the thank you page of the offer you are promoting. yes, they do this. and when you ask them to do it, they'll know you know your stuff. it's called adding a 3rd party pixel. if they can't do that, my advice is to not do business with them. |

Prudency is always a good idea with anything. I only stick with the top reputable CPA networks. Some of these are NeverBlue, AzoogleAds, HydraNetwork. I've never had any issues with any of these. |

By in large most CPA companies are not out to steal your money or intentionally do bad business. But tracking errors do happen. It's just the nature of the business. Starting out you may just want to stick with the bigger more reputable companies like Copeac, NeverBlue, Azoogle, etc. Fellow Warrior PPC-Coach runs Wotogepa.com. He and his network are above-board.

Ambar, I'm glad you found the tip useful. yeah, whenever doing CPA affiliate marketing, ALWAYS have them place your third party tracking pixel. : ) |

They ALL shave earnings so you just have to find that one that shaves the least AND has the best offers AND of course pays on time. It's the gift and the curse what can you do? lol

I use Neverblue and love them. Also, Google prosper202 for free tracking software this will help you with cloaking links and tracking keywords that convert with your campaigns. Also, the way it cloaks the links it will help with Google quality score.

Yeah that's the downside of doing submit offers. I got scrubbed so many times I got fed up and decided to quit promoting submit offers. |

Errors are inevitable but I think certain networks are better than others. Commission Junction, in my opinion, is one of the best to work with. When I first started promoting offers a year or so back, I felt as if my networks would only pay me for a fraction of the quality leads I was giving them. As I promoted more and more and learned how to get laser targeted traffic, I began to make more money from the networks than I actually expected. |

Generally speaking yes, but I'm finding more and more sticking to the big boys and or networks you have a very close relationship is the best option. Azoogle, Neverblue, Copeac, etc, they are gold, I'm also enjoying working with Lidango at the moment just starting to pump some money in to their network. I've recently found out Millnic Media seem to have gone bust owning me $$$, I can't get a response from Rocket Profit or Traffic Needs, the AM simply doesn't respond to e-mails, owes me money from way back. I'm now focussing a lot more on big networks where I have a properly contactable AM, and payments are regular and hassle free. Some of the smaller networks may be worth a punt but I'm losing interest. To busy to be be chasing people for $$$. My advice is either stay with the big boys or build a strong relationship with daily contact with one you feel comfortable with . |

How does one know for a fact that the network is shaving? And if they are shaving and are profitable like crazy how is it that so many are going bust?? Heck, it was not too long ago that I heard rumors of big networks like azoogle, advaliant, and hydra were 'shaving' employees and were teetering on collapse!

The more established and respectful networks will be honest, but I imagine that their software will not always be 100% fail-proof and it's possible that you'll get a couple of non-commissioned conversions. However, there are also networks out there that seem to be deceptive and purposely cheat you out of commission, those are the ones you should be worrying about.

Two things: 1.) Placing a pixel does not guarantee anything. If there are 500 other pixels on that page and yours is number 501, you may or may not fire everytime. Be wary of that. I know copeac forces merchants to place their pixel as high as possible and so do we at wotogepa.com for this very reason. 2.) Networks don't shave, merchants do. Especially with email and zip submits. If the traffic is not converting, (ie the surfer is not going through with the offers on the wall page at a high enough rate), they will scrub your leads. Meaning they will literally not pay you for every lead you send. It's the merchants way of telling to f'off without saying it. (Kind of like adwords making you pay $10 for a click). Is it right? No. But it's been done that way for years and merchants seem to get away with it because they hide behind the networks who get the blame for their shady dealings. |

Right on PPC Coach! In the end it all goes back to the merchant, only they know for a fact what leads and sales converted. Networks are indeed the middle man and are caught in between. wotogepa? is that like copeac, COmmunicate, PErform AChieve? Just curious. |
