Default GOOGLE ADWORDS NEW POLICY

Is there anyone using google adwords to promote with domain forwarding to landing page and no website of their own? If so how are you getting around googles new policy were the display URL and the destination URL have to match the landing page URL?

You can't. It's not a new policy. You have to building landing pages.

Depending on the offer, you might be able to iframe it in.

Otherwise you will need to setup a PHP redirect as your destination URL.

Or use an authority site URL as display and destination (so long as they don't use adwords ads), then edit the actual keyword dest url with your aff link...

(linking to the authority site in your niche ensures high QS ;-)

You will get bitch slapped by Google within a few days. Direct linking is only good for testing. Once you identify good niches/keywords - build review pages or whatever else works in that niche and send the traffic through them.

Also, do not use clickbank+google search. Waste of time and money.

that happens because alot of people don't realise that google actually has real life website reviewers...thats why so many find themselfes wondering after 24 hours "why did google slap me if I had a QS of 7/10 at first" and stuff like that

"Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy..."

I thought you could redirect as long as there was only one affiliate doing it? Is that not the case anymore?

You may be better off with your own landing page anyway. You can warm up the traffic a bit.

Also test putting the traffic through an optin on your site and then sending optins over to the offer's landing page. You may even be able to prepopulate the landing page you send optins to.

The reason for testing optin on your site is obviously to build your list and send them autoresponders for the offer or similar offers.

Back in the day, you could copy an ad on adwords word for word, (the whole ad, even the display url). For example, for auto insurance you could copy this ad EXACTLY;

Code:
Auto Insurance Quotes
Free Quotes, Instant Savings.
Buy Your Policy Online in Minutes!
www.esurance.com
Then in your keyword destination url, you would put your affiliate link going to an auto insurance offer of your choice. You would need to bid high enough to take over their spot, but once you did, half the clicks would go to YOUR affiliate url and the other half would go where they were supposed to, (ie the auto insurance company). Most ppc programs are run by morons at these large companies so they would notice that their traffic was now cut in half, but they wouldn't be able to figure out why.

UNLESS they clicked their own ads a couple times, then they would see it going to some other insurance offer a couple times and their own sites other times. This is a very old trick and is not usable at all anymore because google FINALLY caught on. (It took them forever, as in YEARS, to figure this out.)

That's why the new rule exists, their old system had a huge hole in it and they've sealed up that leak now.

Currently, direct linking is working about 20% of the time.

it has always been that way. ( Otherwise i would be out of business with ASQ
You always need to use landing pages - and even "fake" landing pages using iframes etc. are bad. (Quality score)

HOWEVER - some people say you can direct link on content network, eg. use your display URL (some site of yours) but direct link with affiliate link in the destination URL.

This bothered me, but forced me to send clicks to a referral page ('borrow' your affiliate products page if you have to - rightclick-view source, rightclick-selectall-copy, paste into new page, change base URL)...WHERE I SQUEEZE THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS OUT OF THEM.

If you just go to the affiliate offer, you're never going to build a list. If that doesn't make sense, go to google and type in 'why do I need a list in internet marketing' and read some of the billion pages of links.

And yes, I used to send adwords traffice straight to the offer. It's strange that Google snapped me out and made it work better for me. That would fall into the 'unintended consequence' category, for sure!
