I have a site that gets pretty good organic traffic. Ally my clicks have always converted at 3 - 5% range, but for the past month it's dropped to about 0.5%. Getting about 1k clicks a day, so it's statistically significant. I can't figure out why for the life of me, but it's killing me! The offer is still converting well for networks/affiliates, but I think I'm getting hosed. I'm delivering the same amount of clicks daily, but getting **** for leads. I've analyzed my entire site for potential hacking, but nothing seems to be wrong. I'm tempted to move my site to a new domain since I'm all out of other options. Anyone have a clue what could be going on here? I wonder if since it's an established site with high ranking if people are bidding on my site for CPV or something goofy like that. |

Hey Ryan, Organic traffic? I would try the same type of offer...different network just for a test. |

Hey honestbizpro, Yeah, organic search traffic. Also forgot to mention that I've tried same offer/different networks, different offers - all sorts of combinations. The networks are still converting, so it's something with me I think. It just doesn't make sense that it won't convert for the past 10k clicks. |

Hey Ryan.. Are you saying that it is not converting at all? Or just less then normal? You said you have gone to different networks... Are you sure you are using different advertisers? A lot of times the same advertiser will have many different landing pages, some look alike and others are totally different... The way too find out is to look at the TOC, privacy policy, and contact page...If you will start to pick up on some similarities... Then you will know that all the offers are from the same guy... Some advertisers have a TON of landing pages. Take a look at that... If you are in a curtain market you may find out that you are simply being shaved by the advertiser. If you are not getting any conversions at all then I don't thing this would be the problem unless they are really crazy! Micah Rush <>< |

Thanks Micah - that might be the case. I'm getting conversions... they're just extremely low. For the most part, they are the same advertisers - it seems there are really only a few that control this market. That might just be the case. I'm building a new site just to see if that changes anything... but we'll see! |

Are all users new users? What is the ratio of recurring to new users? If you have a lot of recurring users, they already know your offer.

Could something outside of your/anyone's control have affected the entire or a majority of the niche?

| Like, for example, the economy tanking and people spending more cautiously? Or is this in a market where that would not apply? In the various niches my husband and I are in, we have seen some do better lately and others do poorer.
