New to PPV. Need help

Hi,

I'm thinking to try PPV networks to promote my affiliate products, mainly in health and weight loss. From your experiences, does PPV converts well for this type of traffic?

I'm also have a CPA account, what type of offers that works/convert well for PPV traffics?

Thanks

You might want to consider building a list via PPV before selling weight loss/health products. Email/Zip submit offers convert well but are tough. I'd go with single-page short-form submits. Good luck!

Do you mind explaining exactly what you mean here?

      Thank you.

ppv or cpv traffic works good but with any traffic source there is a huge testing phase that needs to take place before getting an roi.

Your best best is to pick a network and research what the free software with adware that is giving away to build the network and find out what those demographics are of that userbase and go after products with the same demographics. Be ware though that there is a lot of competition in these networks and if you don't know how to separate yourself then it could be hard. Also if your getting a bunch of clicks but no sales then it could be saturated.

If the offer is good thats when you need to separate yourself and you'll get conversions...

I would suggest heading over to LeadImpact or TrafficVance and an account. Next read all you can find online on PPV. Nearly any CPA offer can convert of PPV do to it's ease to target also do to it's ease to get ads approved.

With weight loss your best bet will be to start building a list. Then pitching your product to users over time. That is just what worked for me.

The thread is a tad old, but there are challenges with email/zip submits - mostly due to scrubbing/shaving..

It can convert if you will make some tests. Try to use PPV network related to your niche and then make more than one advertise for this campaign.

I have to agree on this one - using PPV for this niche would be better done via creating a list of prospects to market to. This serves better purposes for record keeping and tracking then simply promoting an offer and hoping for the best. One mistake I seen made far too often is not taking the time to capture a lead prior to pitching.

I'm not a full time marketing guru by any means - I run a Mazda Dealership and sales are sales regardless where they come from online or offline. The reason I say this is imagine me in my field of work heading out on the lot a guy walks onto the lot interested in this dazzling new 2015 Mazda 3 Sport - I make my pitch he walks away and that's the end of the story. It's important to always get a name and number to follow up and counter any offers that might have been presented. Anyway going off topic a little bit but the point is build a list, build a list, build a list THEN promote and pitch.

      Cheers and best of luck

I am new to CPA, but I ran my first campaign yesterday. I sent it to my list and it converted really well. (at about 28%) I agree with all those who advise you to build your list with ppv because it is one of the methods I used to build mine. Why that is so important is because you have control and your list can be super targeted especially with ppv. So build your list and promote CPA offers to them. I believe that is the direction I will continue to use.
