is direct linking to ClickBank a good way to start?

Hello,

I wanted to start testing CB for a long time, and most of my experience is in direct linking from AdWords, Bing to different campaigns (never to CB), so I was wondering, would that approach work with ClickBank Products?

Is anyone doing that? Is it a good idea to begin?

I never tried direct linking to a landing page because for some reason I feel I will loose lots of customers along the way. Am I wrong?

Any tip will be much appreciated. I am aiming to $25 a day to begin with, do you see it possible?

Thanks!

you will lose more customers sending them to a direct link (offer) they need to be aware of where they are and the action you want them to take, you explain this on the LP

Thanks Watson, you think so? even id the ad copy is super clear? Like:

Call to action + description + price in the copy you would still send them to your custom LP?

      Thanks for your time

        yes man
you should try for yourself and you will see LP are the best thing for warming up the visitors and make them take action, you can test aswell editing your ad copy , just add benefits like

Finally, The Cure For <insert niche>
Receive Up To 500 Tips On <niche here>
Just Follow The Instructions Click Here

on the landing page you could add more compelling copy and pictures
by this time the visitor must be 100% convinced that you are a legit offer and you have what they need.

        just my two cents
remember to test different angles, with and without LP
some offer will convert more without LP of course

I won't say that it's not possible (it certainly is), but I can tell you that it's not the easiest or most profitable way to get started.

Selling info products isn't that simple. People won't buy something just because an ad says that it is good. You have to capture leads, build a relationship with your customers, gain their trust and just then tell them to buy something.

If you want to build simple campaigns, I suggest you to start with CPA offers, more specifically the ones that pay upon a free registration (no CC# required).

Yes, that is my main problem. CB products are something I would never buy so I am getting a hard time understanding how to promote them.

If you have any tip or example I will really appreciate it.
      Thanks a lot

You would... if I found a niche that you have interest in and then used a good process to pre-sell the product and convince you about the benefits it would bring to your life before sending you to the sales page, you would be in the right mindset and would pull the trigger.

But that's the point... you have to convince people to buy the product, and this task isn't as simple as driving traffic or setting up a landing page.

So, I suggest you to start with free CPA offers. You will learn a lot while promoting them and it will be easier to get profitable.

I like using a website or squeeze page to build a list, and then pitching the CB product. This has yielded the most success with CB over the years for me. Direct linking can work if the offer has a good landing page and also depending on the niche.

It is always worth testing. But I wouldn't make it my entire game plan.

I never tried direct linking to a landing page because for some reason I feel I will loose lots of customers along the way. Am I wrong?
There are a lot of variable that go into play here, but I can confidently say, it is always worth testing. So CB landing page can convert very well on their own. Some need an extra boost.

    I hope that helps?

That is a good point, but what niches are you into personally? You may be able to find something.

I would probably buy some IM products off ClickBank.
