What offers are best for promoting offline...I will be using some of my billboards and posters for a test. I was thinking of money making or debt or grants....appreciate you feedback. thanks, Mike |

I would actually go with a freebie I think it would get going faster and easier. What you could do for example is make about a few hundred little 2x4 papers and find a good freebie gas offer for example get $250 gas free. Then you would get a new domain for a few $$ and use it to redirect the offer. You would then make a little add to put on the paper and put your new short domain on there. Then you would go to a gas station and talk to the owner that each time a person comes to fill up gas just give them one and for each person that signs up you'll give the owner $.50. They aren't going to lose anything so they most likely would say yes. This requires a little bit of work, but it could work really well. You could do this with products like wrinkle creams and go talk to owners of nail salons or hair salons. Just an idea hope you understood what I meant. Thanks Mr.Moe |

Trust me it's wide open. Just pick a demographic. You can go with teen/young adult....very trendy, gadget oriented. Dating Insurance Health/Diet is huge The key is just coming up with a creative hook to get them to your web property. While staying whitehat you can still use language that entices people to give you a visit. Also, If you look around you at all times you will see great ideas for copy from traditional commercial adcopy. I like to use catchy headlines and current events to get attention. |

You may want to check with AM to make sure they are okay with offline leads (depending on the offer). Ive heard of a story where a network decided not to pay an affiliate because they didnt accept offline traffic. Networks probably saw that all the leads were coming from an extremely concentrated area so knew it had to be some sort of offline marketing...just something to think about I like the gas station idea! Does anybody else have any good offline idea that worked well? The good thing about offline is its harder to compete with each other so easier to share ideas!!!!! |

Anyone use postcards for cpa offers? Matt Trainer has a course on Postcard marketing and I was wondering if he uses postcards for CPA. Yup, I would check with your AM as well. They will definitely wonder why the sign ups are coming from one area only. |

Weberly1 there are so many ideas I can just list them. I think for the ideas to work properly you have to invest some money. For example newspapers that is a big thing right there. You can see which states are suffering the most from the recession and put your domain that you redirect from a work at home site there. I'm sure many people will be looking for jobs and they will do anything. Thanks Mr.Moe |

I use flyers that advertise a survey offer for a well known supermarketthat pays a completion reward and puts entrants into a "years free shopping" draw. They get placed on car windscreens outside the actual supermarket chain. Shoppers are already primed as they leave ! |

About AMs wondering about if all the traffic it all comes from one area only and somehow magically guessing that is because of offline marketing, pretty easy to just run all online and offline traffic through the same website. Is that so hard? Didn't think so.

If you are going to do anything I suggest investing in a good domain name for that. Take the gas station thing for example. Make the URL something pertaining to the area you are in. FreeGasInChicago.com Alot of urls will be taken but you should be able to come up with some real good ones. Another thing you should do is to build your landing page. Place an email field for the person to get to the actual free site for the gas card. Check the code of your free site to see if there is anyway you can pre-pop that email into the field needed. On the next page. While redirecting the user. Have them sit on an animated page for maybe 5 seconds. Have it say finding available offers in your area. Then thank you sending you to an available offer now. Please make sure to verify your email after you complete the offer for your free gas. The email they verify would be set up through your aweber or other email service. They verify it you get a future way to monetize them. They go to the actual page sign up for the offer you get a comission for that. The best thing about having your own page is you can change it. Try different things to see if it will convert at a better rate. |

| Now that I think about it, the only reason for this would be that they would think all the IPs in the same area would be some sort of evidence of false submits (fraud) so if you tell them beforehand, they wouldn't worry about it, but otherwise I don't see what the big deal would be.

Depends on the area also. If there's a gym near there etc then do a health one. Generally free trials or free offers work best in my opinion.

Identifying your target audience is key, once this is known it is a simple matter of getting your ad/flyer etc. to these people which might involve a bit of work, but once done, hey just watch the cash roll in.

I was reading the idea of giving an attendant at the gas station flyers and split commissions. I thought it was a brilliant idea (maybe even untapped). My issue arose when I was looking for gas card offers. They all seem to ask for enrollment in there sponsors. Is anyone aware of any that are contests like fill-out a survey and have a chance to win a gas card instead? I worry that the ones requiring sponsor sign-ups will come back to the gas station in a negative way. This would be fine if I don't ever go back to the gas station I guess...but I would rather be complete whitehat and therefore keep it ongoing. If you could give any advice, much would be appreciated. Thanks. |

If you promoting any CPA offers offline you will want to get into the trial market. From Skin Cream to Diet Products. Also Car insurance works very well. However most CPA / Aff. Networks don't like offline advertising too much so you better drive the traffic to your own landing page, sign them up to your autoresponder and ask your aff manager how you can prepop your offers. One of the cheapest ways to promote offers offline is the use of postcards.
