I was just accepted to a really good insurance quote submit offer which pays $9.50 on FIRST page. Now..how on earth can i promote this? We're dealing with €15-€20 (!!!) CPC on adwords for those keywords - i also think there is no way to get this running on content network for cheap...in other words it probably wouldnt even show on content unless i bid some insane amount. Any ideas? Craigslist? Banners? (whereas banners in that niche would probably also cost a fortune) G. Add: Its not an incentivizeable offer. just FYI. |

Craigslist is good but I think it's blackhat personally. Try PPV because it's cheaper than ad words. The personal best would be offline advertising as the economy is low so you can get some space for really cheap. What type of insurance is it? If it's car then advertise in your local motor magazine if it's house then advertise in your local property magazine |

Do not bid on keywords that have the word "insurance" or "quote" in them ![]() Figure out your demographics, find out what websites your potential customer like to visit/read and target those sites/keywords. The exact same thing is true for debt/tax/credit card/credit report niches. edit: as YoungMoulah suggested, offline advertising might be worth trying, too. |

I am having the same issue with an offer that pays very well and I was able to get my payout upped a little more because I word with my AM for a long time - but the best keywords are very expensive - I actually have never seen keywords this expensive ever before. I'm thinking about making a WordPress page and writing rich content on the offer. Any thoughts?

2nd tier advertising platforms, and remember Google's not the only place people are looking for things. LinkedIn is a great source of traffic for people that are actually in the market for that kind of thing, be it for their home or office. There are plenty of other places too, but you only get one freebie from me. |

Here's 2 tips: Have you ever watched an NBA game last season? Look carefully at which companies put their name on the hoop support structure. I'll give you a hint, starts with "State" and ends with "Farm". They've decided that NBA fans are a good target for their ads and have paid big bucks to get their company name on there. Also, if you're watching a movie or tv during the day, take note of where car insurance commercials are being played. TV ads are expensive, they've done their homework. Mimic where they put ads, but online instead. |

Maybe doing some deep keyword research should pull out some good keywords. The search for them may not be high, but if you test enough of them you could make it very profitable. |

Good luck - the insurance niche is extremely competitive, but I guess you already know that! I wouldn't go near PPC, because there are too many deep pocket insurance companies who make a lot more on the policy than we make on the referral. The best luck I've had in this niche is with mini-site landing pages and long-tail SEO.

Well, why do you only want to use PPC. They are of no good deal in such cases. make blogs post them articles, place the campaign over there and then promote it. There are many other way to promote it.

You have to Give Give Give and you will Get Get Get. You need to be creating a resource for people thinking about getting insurance or just better insurance. Tips, tools, Free guide, everything they need to make a good decision on purchasing or switching over to new insurance. I have made money using totally free methods helping people learn about insurance. You can find most of the info already on the web that you translate into your own words. Think creatively, you don't have to be a PPC genius just more helpful than the next guy sometimes. ![]() So focus on how you can help people solve their insurance problems then on how you will obtain traffic paid or free, and how you will convert them using some "sticky" (meaning they stay on your pages longer) engaging content. |
