I just recently got accepted into Neverblue and I hope to start my first CPA campaign soon. However there are a lot of things that still confuse me. A lot of these will probably be newbie questions but I've searched the forums and didn't find anything useful, so here goes: How exactly are my conversions tracked? Would I have to contact my affiliate manager and have him place my pixel on the company's website in order to track these conversions? If that's the case then if I am running campaigns with Adwords, what do I put for my destination URL? Is it automatically tracked through the pixel I gave? In other words, when a visitor sees my ad and clicks on it, Google will send that visitor to whatever destination URL I specified. But if it's just a regular company website URL, then how will I be credited for leads/sales that I generate? Also, what is a global postback url? There's an option on my affiliate page when viewing a specific campaign that says add a redirect for this campaign. I am taken to a page that prompts me to enter my "Non Site Specific Postback URL" and my "Postback URL for site (Google Adwords)". I'm switching over from promoting clickbank offers to CPA networks so hopefully you guys can see where I'm getting lost in translation (ease of generating hoplinks and what not). Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me. I don't want to ask my AM these questions because I sounded really convincing on the phone that I knew my stuff in order to get accepted into their network lol. |
