Wow Robin, I never had that much trouble. Can u list more here about what is going on? You have to have a decent picture (no nudies), a description that isn't too misleading, and a good headline that also isn't misleading. After that, as long as you are within those guidelines, after a couple of times of submiting you should get listed. Want to pm me an example?

I have very decent pics, and the majority I am using the product name for my headline. I have not given any misleading information. The one I think I am surprised about the most is my "DISH NETWORK" ad. I have wrote them a reply and ask them how I could possibly be misleading the people w/ this offer? It is Dish network, and there is NO PURCHASE nec, and my ad words were about the dish service. It was an email offer. I have only submitted the ads once though. Do you typically have to submit more than that??? Thanks for the help

Hi Robin, can you send me the info Ill see what I can do to help you I have not had any issues with FB but sometimes I know they can find things and not offer much explanation. I'm glad to see ya posting questions here that's how you learn. Make sure you figure out your daily spend limits and adjust your bid closely until you get it dialed in I wouldn't want you to blow a ton of money. Set your bid at first when they are approving it where they suggest then after they approve it lower the bid. Also you need to know who your main target is, who is the main buyer of the products who are the decision makers in the home.Men, women and age etc etc then adjust your ad to match it. You want real defined people groups targeted is the word.

some ads don't really go with the guideline, but they still go through
just thin of FB staffs as a bunch of douchebag who don't really do their job right The first time I submitted my ads, 5 of them got disapproved, now, the ratio is 3:1, so, it's not that bad |

Facebook, in my experience, is very picky. At almost seems like they favor some ads (whether by type, content, etc. I'm not sure). I have tried different starting bids, different ad verbiage, different pics... and there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to why some are picked over others. However, I will tell you that once you find a winning combination, Facebook can be a very lucrative friend to have. Stick in there and keep trying! One thing is for sure, it doesn't cost you a dime to submit an ad for approval.

Even when your ads do get approved, good luck in conversions. I have had bad experience, but maybe you'll do well

when you say it was an email offer do you mean it was a one field submit on the landing page?
if so then FB may view this as someone just trying to build a mailing list and usually disapproves those. Just keep the variations going and keep submitting questions to them to find their specific answers. From one member of their team to the next their understanding of the guidelines varies widely. |
