Just been accepted to a CPA network - what's the best way forward.

Hello,

Firstly I am new to warrior forum - this is my first post so hi all!

So yesterday I have been approved to Max Bounty - my affiliate manager has recommended an offer for me to promote etc.

I appreciate that the best way to promote these is to build a list using a squeeze page etc. however I am itching to make a start and start sending people to the offer.

Would you guys recommend paid traffic to send people to the offer, if so is there a particular network (networks) that you would recommend, I appreciate this is different depending on the person, the offer etc. but just want to get a general idea.

Basically I am looking for the quickest way to start making money - not neccessarily the easiest way - I am fully prepared to put the work in, I would just like it to start paying out ASAP.

Thank you in advance for your time.

James.

    Hi Jamester,

you talk about the "Paid Traffic" promotion model.

In my opinion definitely the quickest way to earn fast money with CPA offers

    BUT

not really beginner friendly. If you are not familiar with things like, CPM, CPC, Conv. Rate, multi tracking, split testing, etc. then i recommend you a good guide about the concept of paid traffic in usage for CPA offers. There are a lot out there. (especially in this forum)

The simplest way you can get more information about "Paid Traffic" is the way most people dont do out there. Ask your Affiliate Manager at MaxBounty. He can recommend you guides and traffic sources as well as the correct offers.

Hopefully I could help you a little bit!

    Have a great day,
    Peter

      Hi Peter,

Many thanks for your response, thats very helpful.

I should have been clearer in my initial post, I do have some experience with AdWords as this is what we use for my company (I am a web designer) and have used it many times in the past.

Is there a particular ad network that you would recommend over AdWords?

Thanks again for your time, much appreciated

        Hi James,

I, for one, love Max Bounty. Great offers, support and timely payouts. Good choice.

As for AdWords, not so much. Very expensive and they won't let you link to affiliate offers directly.

You can start small and scale up, and link directly to your offers, with Bing though.

I am running a couple of campaigns there now and I'm quite happy with them.

Also look around for a coupon for their $50 new account credit. Do a search and you'll probably turn up a few sources.

        Good luck!

Yep, there are 1,000s upon 1,000s of traffic sources, and your general question does not exactly help us give you the best suggestions.

General idea? Find a CPC network and work with it until profitability, DO NOT start with CPM/Media buys as this requires greater skills, and CPC networks allow you to pay a fixed price per ACTION (click) as opposed to per 1,000 impressions (which is not as useful for Aff marketers).

On the other hand, CPM pricing can end up being cheaper - you just need to know what you're doing.

MAKE SURE TO GET A GOOD TRACKING SERVICE to track your campaigns, ads, Landing pages, and whatever other variables there may be!

PM me with more details and I can give you a more detailed answer.

Yeah, not very beginner friendly at all - but the potential for quickly scaling up is about 200,000 times better and faster than "Free Traffic".

I agree, and disagree with the guide.

Get a guide - but only ONE guide on ONE traffic source you decide on, learn what you can and then SPEND MONEY, that is literally the fastest way to learn. It can be financially painful, but it's the fastest way to learn.

Why do you quote: Paid Traffic? Is it not paid, or traffic? Just curious...

Your right, first of all you have to focus on one single traffic source. (e.g. 7Search - a good CPC network where you can start with)

Its true that you can scale way better with paid traffic instead of free traffic. But it can hurt your purse pretty hard, to be honest.

Forget the quotes. I just want to emphasize the word Paid Traffic.

    Hi

You may want to start with a blog in a subject of your choice. Many affiliate marketers start by creating content and posting affiliate links on their page.
You will need to cultivate the ability to start new websites, buy domain names, host pages and make landing pages. These skills will become important as you begin CPA marketing.
Download an ebook on CPA marketing.
Practice driving targeted traffic to your website.
The following are ways that people learn to drive traffic.
Practice creating and promoting fan pages and groups on Facebook. If you know how to get "likes," then you are on your way to driving traffic to a lead landing page. This usually takes a passion for staying in touch with followers and trying new creative social media strategies.
Practice creating videos and YouTube channels. If you are an expert in a field or you can call on other people to create creative or instructive videos, this content grabs attention. Once you have traffic, you can post links to landing pages where you can gather lead information.
Learn how to make and buy Internet ads. If you have graphic design skills and you don't want to create content on a blog or YouTube, then this may be the best option for you. You can find prime ad spaces, through services like BuySellAds, and purchase the ad space for a period of time. If the ad is targeted successfully, people will click on the link and type in their information, giving you leads. You will need to subtract the cost of the ad in order to figure out your return on investment.
Become adept at using PPC advertising to get traffic to your landing page. Similar to buying ad space, you will need to bid on keywords in order to place the link to your landing page where you will get noticed. If you have a lot of experience with search engine advertising, this may be the best option for you.

        Hi James,

Congrats on MaxBounty and congrats on your endeavor of getting into the CPA niche.

First: what type of budget are you working with per day/week/month? (If you don't want to share publicly that's totally ok).

Second: Do you know your target audience that you are going to promote this offer to? VERY IMPORTANT, don't take the shotgun approach with promoting offers. Shoot the fish in a barrel and not the pond.

Third: Tracking will be very important so you can scale your campaign so that way you know what ad is working and what isn't. Cut the losers.

Fourth: Facebook is probably one of the best ad platforms, especially once you know your target audience, because you can hone down to the T who you want to target. You can get cheap very targeted traffic with Facebook. Run multiple ads until you find the winner.

Above all, make sure that you control all the data from the get go! That means, build a list with an opt-in page with something relevant to the offer. #Followup is King, especially if you have other offers that are similar that the "target" audience is interested in, and yes there are ways to find that out.

First, congratulations on being approved at MaxBounty!

There are a lot of variables that go into promoting a campaign and being successful with it. What offer was suggest by your Affiliate Manager? As long as the offer permits it,PPV can be an effect paid traffic source that is backed by a number of good PPV networks. Lead Impact ,Traffic Vance, 50onRed and Media Traffic are probably your best bet.

Social is also a viable option especially for beginners. Using FB ads you can direct users to your landing page and then to the offer. Also, I would try talking to your AM about this as well, they can help steer you in the right directions as far as traffic sources go as well. Most likely if they suggested a specific offer they also suggested the best way to try promoting it.

    Good luck!

Most successful CPA affiliates spend money on PPC. If you can make $10 for every $8 you spend, you can make a lot of money by scaling your traffic. The rest use SEO and SPAM techniques.

I would say FB PPC would probably be a great place to start and try and know your target audience. FB lets you get pretty specific with what interests to target.
Can also try POF or PPC and search around for coupons of the ad networks you want to sign up with. If you have hosting you should have have some ad credit coupons from them as well.

    Maxbounty is a great network!
