Hi Guys

I read many posts that when people promoting CPA offers using landing page.
My question is ; what kind of landing pages for CPA offers is that the company offers
or a landing page to collect emails+ autoresponder and send them cpa offers ?

    There a are basically 2 ways to go:

    1 - Drive traffic directly to the merchant's offer (ie: Direct Linking) OR...
    2 - Drive traffic to your own landing page.

    If #2 - then your page can be either a "Pre-sell" page; or a "Lead Capture" page.

    Each has its merits.

    The benefit of using #2 and capturing your own leads is that you can build your own subscriber list and continuously market backend offers to them.

    This is one of the keys to long term success with CPA.

    Which way to go is up to you. I've personally been successful capturing my own leads and then sending them off to the offer, so it's what I recommend.

    What I recommend doing is split testing. Try sending traffic direct, then try sending to your own pre-sell page first. I like to look at the offer page and try to find missing details. See if anything is hard to understand or laid out confusing. Then create the pre-sell page highlighting what you want to fix. Make it easier to read, better laid out, etc.

    It's not much work and pre-sell pages usually increase sales immediately.

    People do both ways, collecting emails is a good way to go though

      It depends on if you want a flash in the pan commission or an ongoing income stream. It really depends on you. Obviously for long term purposes you would want to be collecting emails and building relationships for future sales.

      But if you're just getting beginning and using not having a landing page/email sequence as an excuse, you should just get going. Action is where the money is. You can multiply 1's but you cant multiply 0's. You have to at least to get to 1. Then you can start multiplying.

    First try to pick up a great offer with high EPC rate.
    Then try to build your landing pages and go with split testing and optimizing.

    Also use a squeeze page to capture lead and get better ROI and conversion rates.

    It really depends on the offer. Some will work better than others for creating a squeeze page to capture e-mails. The quality and information displayed on the advertisers land page can play a significant role as well. If you think you can make a landing page that better sells the offer or suits your angle better, then that may be the path to take. Obviously like a few others have mentioned already, testing is the only way to truly determine what the best option is.

    There's no right or wrong answer, but obtaining e-mails can be very useful for future promotions.

    Hi surfer,

    So we have a large base of affiliates on my network and I get asked this question everyday. The answer is it depends.

    If an offer payout is above $3 I highly suggest a landing page.
    A landing page overall is pretty good in the fact that it acts as a bridge page which allows you to collect data.

    From this data you can tweak campaigns to get the best ROI.
    If its a gaming offer you don't need to create a lander.
    If your pushing a trial product I highly suggest a lander to presell the user.
