How do you advertise webpages specifically to get more social sharing?

Do you use Facebook boost post? If so, do you advertise to fans only, or to people you target?

Also, are there places better than Facebook to advertise webpages for social sharing?

What do you think of places such as Content Ads, Ad Fly, Clicksense, etc?

    Boosting posts is a good to get more attention on that specific post. Obviously that can create some residual awareness for the page itself too. The boost post typically targets users who have liked your page as well as friends of those users.

    There are plenty of other options that can be used to advertise webpages that if used properly, can improve social sharing. With Facebook's organic reach seemingly plummeting by the month, this alternative is becoming more and more necessary.
