Is PPC to my site and then to amazon a good model?

Hi! I am thinking on using PPC to drive traffic to my site and from there to amazon, or even sell in my site and just make the payment via amazon.

Is that model doable or you think I will be spending more in the PPC than what might actually come back from amazon affiliate program?

Any tips on amazon will be appreciated!

It sounds like you are following the normal amazon site model. These sites simply have content and links to amazon products within them.

When it comes down to traffic, it is all about how targeted they are. You could send traffic through blog comments and it will perform better than PPC, or send PPC traffic and it will perform better than blog comments.

Spending money in PPC does not guarantee success because It comes down to knowing what you are doing.

As for selling the site through Amazon, you can't sell websites from the AMAZON I know.

      Thanks Tariqsal.

I was asking specifically about PPC -> Site -> Amazon model. Besides the obvious fact that it always depends of knowing what you are doing, it might just not be profitable because numbers don't add up.

My question was towards someone with experience with a similar model getting a good ROI.

I would suggest doing a review of the product and pre-selling before sending to Amazon

Look for long tail keywords for lower cpc otherwise youll find it very difficult to even break even

Thanks, yes, the idea is not to DL to Amazon. Also I am considering PPV as it might be a little cheaper. I guess the best thing will be to try.
