URL-shortener service

Hello everyone!

I have a question about URL - shortener sites that pay, where people can join and make money with, I have thinked about opening one but I came here to ask you. Is running a URL shortening site profitable, I have thinked about monetizing the website with cpm network. How do you think it would work out, please feel free to give me your opinion!

    I've thought about this too.

    My main concern is with how to track those people who send junk traffic exchange. How do you deal with that?

      Well my friend, there are scripts that allows onlly unique visitors of course, but to ensure that people really watch the ads, I will implement captha codes to earn money instead of wait time, in that case traffic exchanges wont be that effective.

        Scripts to do that would be part of the solution but my big concern is with certain traffic exchanges that allow you to download a program and just leave it running with no user interaction. They actively encourage you to use the program on as many different IP's as possible which is, of course, very easy to do.

        In addition, they offer the ability to change the referrer as well. eg. google.com, facebook.com, etc, etc. which I would imagine makes that more difficult to figure out which is real traffic and which is bot.
