What to do with a budget of $100/month?

HI,

If you had a budget of a $100/month, where would you start? What is he best way to advertise?

I'm a complete novice in Ad Networks and don't really know where to go first.

My page has a good presence on Socia Media ( Youtube, Pinterest and Google+ would be our strongest).

Thanks

Christelle

with a $100 budget you don't have a lot more options, you may want to find some network which can help you with such small budget, many network will not even entertain you with this budget.

With that budget, i'd recommend you look at "free" traffic sources such as SEO, Facebook fan pages, Twitter, Youtube marketing

I have done it, and yes it works for me so far. What would you recommend for a "descent" budget to start with?

Yes John sorry about the lack of Info...but I'm never sure how much I can share in the Forum without getting in troubles
My niche is Prenatal Yoga. I sale Prenatal Yoga Video. I do have a sale page, all the social media channels, a blog, money is starting to come in and I feel like I can reinvest a little bit in the advertising. But with no, or very little experience I just don't know where to start, not even know how much to invest, how, where, how often...
What I want, of course more viewers on my page, and I want to attract affiliates.
I can send you a link if you want to have a look at?

      Many Thanks,

      Christelle

    I suggest, buy and sell...
Ebay would be a great option for that, and I think it is a good investment.

As your limit budget you can start small business. Other way
I love the stock market (after all this site is primarily about investing in the stock market), but I realize that $100 by itself is not enough to get any traction in the market. As a result, I wanted to suggest an alternative method for investing that $100: starting an online business. In particular, starting a blog or information-based website (much like the one you are reading) is within reach of anyone with $100. You can start your own easy-to-use website that looks good for under $100. In fact, the page you website you are reading this article on now took less than $100 to get up and running – and I did not do a single bit of programming or graphic design.

Depending on a niche, I'd go with Bing Ads and Facebook Ads.

You can achieve very good results with $100 worth of targeted clicks.

Facebook marketing or something like that, but I wouldn't start anything till I have at least 300 to 500 dollars a month, just in case.

If you want to just flip-clicks into buyers than I'd suggest Bing/Yahoo CPC. Experience has shown me you get a higher quality of traffic, lower cost-per-click than Google Adwords. Of course, there is less volume searchers on their network. Also, make your ad as specific and targeted as possible. Make sure your clicks are 'qualified' by making transparent ads, telling consumers exactly what to expect including the price of your product/service.

Although this is really a "short-life" strategy. Prior to paying for traffic you should have all manners of tracking ready to go including an active A/B split test, analytics, heatmaps, a lead capture and follow up system etc. That way the money you spend on this traffic, if doesn't become immediately profitable, will still have a lot of value to you in terms of information, to make your next $100 in ads go further.

Hmm $100 bucks is quite low I'm afraid - I would save up a bit more money, then apply for a few credit cards and also get an Adwords voucher. That should help get you started to get a much bigger budget ... then you can focus properly on PPC

If I had such a small budget to invest and I was selling pre-natal Yoga....

I'd make a brochure and booking form and even get some DVD's extracted from the Full Yoga Video and I'd hang out at the pre-natal check in area of the local hospital or various ultra-sound clinics etc and just spend an hour in the carpark or reception or you might discuss the service you offer with the establishment so you could promote to your ideal market.

Don't spend money on PPC or any online marketing unless you can get sales to pregnant mums face to face.

You may find you never need to to go to PPC but if you de you can use all the information you get from talking to expectant mums and understanding what would motivate them to buy.

You could also strike up relationships with local Gyms who could promote the product to clients who fall pregnant an may want to suspend their membership due to pregnancy but the gym may want them to come back later....

Your product could be the ideal interim solution and also provide some revenue for the gym who potentially is losing a client for an extended time.
