Adserver for a new website

Hey guys.

Please move this thread to the correct section if I'm in the wrong section.

Looking for an adserver for our new website as a publisher
Needs to be able to obviously handle direct ads as well as connect to an RTB exchange.

We'll want something that will be initially cheap but can ramp without becoming prohibitively expensive. Few choices we've looked into:

1) DFP - don't like Google in general and privacy issues restrict the amount of data you can get
2) Smart adserver - interface looks good. Pricing model is a bit high initially and haven't really heard too much about them. From what I've seen though their technology looks good.
3) EPOM- reached out to them. They said they'd get back to me within 2-8 hours. Has been 3 days and still nothing. Not a great start. Pricing looks ok from what I can see on their website. Have read a few complaints that their exchange delivers pretty dodgy ads which could be a problem.
4) Buysellads- seen if running here on WF. Reached out to them today. Waiting to hear back. Don't know much about them. Donno if they do video ads as well though.
5) Adbutler - Prices are a bit high. Didn't look too deep into them.
6) Adzerk - starts at $1,000 per month for 10M impressions. Comes to $0.1 CPM which is a bit on the high side for that volume I think, although for 100M impressions it's only $2000 so maybe it's worth it for the higher volumes at $0.02.
7) OpenX - Has had a name change and no longer supports the cool stuff as free, and looks like it's not on par with the other paid solutions.

I'm currently leaning towards either Smart adserver or Adzerk due to pricing and what they bring to the table.
UPDATE: Adzerk have pretty much blown me off because the site is new. They say I'm too small lol.

Am I missing any major player in my decision making?
Anyone got any recommendations from a publishing standpoint?
