Offline Marketing Question: Regarding CPA

Hi All,

Very simple question for you all. I confirmed with my affiliate manager that offline promotion is allowed.

There is no need for me to do a double meta refresh to blank the referrer then, correct?

Can I just do a simple redirect? People will be going to the domain directly.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Chris

I think you should clear that with your AM as well.

Interested in learning which Network that is...

It is my experience that only a handful allow it. If they allow it, then I would assume all you need to do is to forward your domain to the aff. link.

PS: Offline traffic is always typ-in traffic so it does not leave a ref.

The question is very broad, but I have been doing offline marketing for quite some time with excellent results.

In most cases I dont like to send traffic straight to the offer, but in certain circumstances with certain offers, it does actually work better.

The best thing is to keep open communication with your a.m. I have never had any kinds of problems with offline because I have open comm and my am who will tell me if an offer is not converting or the advertiser not happy before it becomes a problem.

Most networks dont technically allow offline but most networks will allow it if the offers convert on their side! Just be careful because if you dont clear with your am, you may get stiffed

Just clear it with your AM - no point in driving a bunch of traffic - getting a bunch of leads, then they hold it all back

Agreed...at the end of the day, many am's will accept many "unnaccepted" types of traffic if its converting on the advertisers end

If its not converting and you didnt clear it with your am though..say good bye to your leads plus any legit leads you got...

    talk to your am
