How to generate school or degree enrollment leads

Hi There,
I am looking for traffic methods to generate college degree, training programs, school admission leads. I have been doing seo but the competition is really high and almost all university websites are placed in top 20 results of google.

I would like to know what other traffic methods work for lead generation. Please share your views.

I'll go with Bing and FB ads for the beginning and then expand to Adwords

  Thanks for replying,CPC is very high in bing and adwords. Did not give a try with fb ads yet. What other traffic methods do you suggest?

  Actually I am not paying anyone rather I get paid per the lead I generate for. Hope you got me now.

I have been trying to crack Bing for leads in this vertical for this month and it is hard. Keywords are very expensive. You will need a good 2-3 weeks of data to see when the majority of the searches are happening and where and adjust your ad delivery schedule accordingly. I am +40 on the month at spending close to $200/day so at least it is positive. Like everyone else says, it will cost money to make it.
