From the 50onred site, not sure if this helps or not..

    Display (CPM)

Whether on their own or alongside other forms of advertising you're running, Display ads maximize visibility and keep your promotions top-of-mind. Increase your profits with prime placements anywhere on the web and highly customizable targeting options designed for granular testing and optimization.

With Display, you can target the keywords and domains you want to show your 728x90 or 300x250 banner ads, plus choose where your ads appear on the page. When a user lands on a matching URL, your creative will be shown on the website's whitespace. Because Display is CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions), you pay 1/1,000th of your CPM bid for each impression.

Display traffic is the traffic coming from banners.
Your banners will get displayed on websites and you have to pay on CPM basis ie per 1000 views/impressions

Display ads is basically banner ads. You can use google adwords for display ads. Google will display your ads on sites that matches the keywords you choose.

To optimize your ROI, after your campaign run for a while, you will be able to see which specific sites your banners are displayed on, track which site send you the best conversions and which ones are just wasting you money, which you can then switch off ads on those sites and only display on the best converting sites, and increase your ROI.

It can be quite profitable with the right optimization and testings.

I am testing 50onRed Display and I am confused about where to place my affiliate link/code after uploading my banners. I am tracking with Prosper202 and i just created my campaign as if i am direct linking since there no option for banner codes. Please, can someone let me know how i can track this?

    Or should i not Prosper202?

And if i don't track with Prosper202 is it possible to use 50onRed for tracking too?

If I'm understanding correctly, you would set this up as a direct linking campaign (assuming you have no landing pages)

Yes, you can use Prosper202 to track 50onRed Traffic Platform campaigns. All of our tracking macros are listed here, which you can plug into Prosper to generate your tracking URL.

When you add creatives to your campaign on Traffic Platform, you'll enter your tracking URL into the field labeled "Destination URL".

Let me know if you have any questions!
