A proven CPA strategy that works?

I'm new to cpa ,actually I'm with maxbounty for abou 9 months and have tested different versions of landing pages with ppv via directcpv to no luck for any conversions. I'm promoting 1 page email submits. I got 486 clicks for my last campaign free credit score and not one action. When I tested the e-mail submit after submitting e-mail it popped up a 2 page survey? I thought after the e-mail portion you get paid? In fact , I thought that was the entire offer, very simple as I was led to believe??

What is the best traffic source/ strategy that really works. The gurus tout CPV but what about PPC and how do you get those long keyword lists??

You can probably tell,I know very little. Anybody who really knows how to hit the big numbers I could really do with the pointers.

thanks
jon

Ok. I see. If you are getting clicks to an offer, but no conversions, it may be the offer that needs to be changed. Test, test, test. You are testing different landing pages which means that you are testing. However, if these don't convert try different offers.

Make sure that you are promoting the correct search creative options for the offers. Select the one that applies to your means of promotion (eg. search, banners, etc). Track these in a 3rd party tracker (Bevo Media, CPV Lab, Prosper202, etc).

Make sure that you are targeting the right keywords (including website names as keywords). This is key to success with ppc or ppv. Make sure you are doing exact bids and not broad bids. This offers laser-targeted results (conversions).

Can you share more details on what you are doing?
How are you picking your offers?
    How are you targeting?
    How are you testing?
    What is your bidding strategy?
    etc..?

    Bing, Facebook, Instagram...

Those 3 have been pretty darn hot for some time now.

(and it's for a good reason, too)

Hey Jon - I can tell you right away where you are probably going wrong in terms of strategy.

The main problem I have with small zip/email submit offers are that they just won't make you rich. Reason being is that the payouts are very low so your profit margins will be razor thin as well. They are good for learning the game and getting some good experience under your belt in CPA/CPL and minimizing your risk, but once you know how they work you need to step it up.

Remember, it takes exactly the same amount of work to setup, tweak, monitor and expand an email/zip product campaign than a bigger CPL product that pays $40-60 bucks per lead. That's why I tend to stick to the latter.

For traffic I really only stick to Adwords Search, BING Search and Facebook timeline/sponsored ads as they all just convert the best and the quality of the traffic is pretty high as well. Granted, the clicks aren't cheap but if I get a high commission for every lead I can make it work pretty quickly and because my profit margins will be a good few bucks per lead compared to only a few pennies my profit margins will be much higher as well.

So yeah, in a nutshell - it's not rocket science but just numbers while using a good strategy in the CPA/CPL game

What did you test so far? Have you tested multiple offers? Traffic sources? Multiple LPs? Headlines on lp, images, angles, ad copies, etc? You need to test a lot until you get profitable.
