Google Adwords

I want to create an account with Google Adwords so I can do some Keyword research.

However,

I have to walk trough the 4 steps to active my account. I need to answers questions like "max bid ammount".

Can't I skip those steps? My boss also uses Adwords for our company and I don't want to mess things up.

      For now, I would want to do keyword research. Later I want to utilize PPC.

      But to sign up, it looks like I need to build a campaign, which I dont care about at the moment.

    Well all you can do is just sign in with Google adword with gmail and you are good to go with keyword research.

    If you only want to perform keyword research, you can just sign in using your gmail email account via https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner and then click on "search for new keyword and ad group ideas"

    If you are not logged into to the keyword planner page, you can select Tools from the above menu and that will bring you to the keyword research tool and not the adword campaign page.
