You can work on Fiverr or any of the freelance sites. You can also post in the Warriors for Hire section on this forum or look in the Wanted section for people looking to hire.

Since you say you have some knowledge of affiliate marketing and social media, etc, you can also make money for yourself as an affiliate using free methods, including social media.

It is going to depend a lot on what you would like to do each day. As mentioned before, Fiverr will work nicely, but this one does take a bit of time to get started on because there are thousands of others on the site and since all of the prices are the same, it is hard to get started and noticed. Not impossible, but it will take some extra work.

There are a lot of other places you can look. I have spent a bit of time working on Elance the last few years. This is about to merge together with Odesk to form UpWork, but it is a great freelancing site. I have worked mostly in the writing category, but you can look at different things like transcription work, IT work, personal assistant, graphic design and so on. This is a good place if you are looking to do a lot of different kinds of things.

Some other sites for freelance writing and other kinds of ideas would include Guru, Outsource, and Freelancer, but I have found that UpWork is the best in terms of amounts of jobs.

If you are more in the idea of doing surveys, this can bring in a bit of money. More and more of the ideas are moving to being for prizes or gift cards instead and it does take a bit of time, but you can make a bit of money.

Hirewriters is a good place to start if you want to just get in to the writing business without having to spend time bidding and hoping to win. The projects are usually not worth as much, but you can build up to more money and you can get quite a bit done in an hour or so to make a bit of money this way.

Affiliate marketing can be a good idea if you already have a website set up. You can get started at any time, you just need to get some kind of following ready to go in order to see some results. Affiliate marketing with options like Clickbank and CJ Affiliates will allow you to promote and sell products on your website and make a bit of money when your audience clicks on and purchases the product.

These are a few of the different things that you can try out for making money on the side. Please let me know a bit more about your interests for making money and I might be able to help out a bit more.

Let me caution you that reading about these things and doing them are very different things. It's wrong to say you have skills in these areas without actually having run repeatedly successful campaigns. Since it sounds like you've never run a campaign at all, please don't tell anyone you have skill in any of these areas and do not try to get hired for any related job.

Stick to things you've actually done and know you can do well if you are hiring yourself out. When it comes to your own money, that is when you can experiment with new things. But don't use other people's businesses to experiment and learn on the go unless you are very clear with them up front that you do not know what you are doing.

Those that ask for money in advance are most of the times some sort of schemes or scams. I think freelancing is perfect for you, you can earn even more than $5 a day and 5 hours is more than enough for that. You can try finding gigs at sites like Upwork, Elance, Freelancer, Genuine Jobs, Fiverr, etc.
Good luck in your job hunt!
