Direct Linking or Landing Page

Hi Guys,

Silly question on the above. Once you get into a network, how do you know if the campaign allows Direct Linking or Landing pages for us to run the campaign.

If nothing is stated can I assume both are allowed for all campaigns unless they specifically mention something.

I'm guessing DL would be allowed for all campaigns right? Appreciate your feedback on this please.

Thank you.

I would ask the network for clarification on that.

Personally I always prefer "host and post" though so I can use my own landers and retain full control over the campaign. Not all networks will allow you to do that but it is much better from an affiliate perspective if they allow host and post or API delivery

Anyway you can use your own pre-landing page before offer's page. It's very suitable for CPV as your popup must be very fast and simple.

Most campaigns allow direct linking but when it comes to using your own landing pages it's best to ask your Affiliate Manager first. Some advertisers allow them you'll just have to get them approved first before you can start actually using them in your promotion. Some won't want them at all and some will be very lenient with their usage, it just depends.

Always talk to your AM just to be sure so that you're not violating terms/conditions of the network or the advertiser.

    Cheers.

Almost all the campaigns allow direct linking. But, there are some instances where in the network might want you to have a domain for that specific offer. It is better if you design your own landing page that it should yield you a better ROI in regards to direct linking.
