Is Lead Impact still stripping cookies?

I'm looking for information from recent LI advertisers only - say within the past 2 months. I stopped using Lead Impact last year when they were both stripping cookies and using some new software that was not displaying landing pages but were still charging for views of blank pages.

Does anyone know for certain if these two things are still occurring or not? I really don't trust asking them directly unfortunately since they lied about both things for quite awhile. But I still have my account with them and was wondering if it was safe to try them again.

I heard there was an issue if you tried to use a target=_blank ahref code to open links in new windows , I'm not sure if your talking about the same thing?

The cookie part, yes, it happened anytime a new window was opened - not just from the lander/pop-up but anywhere along the path. So even if you did not code your own landing page that way, it would still happen if the advertiser had any new window open anywhere along the path. Now I believe in list-building myself, but I also test offers with my own lander, then sending to the advertiser to see if the offer is worth promoting. This cookie stripping was destroying all my testing.

The second thing I mention with the software/adware not loading landing pages had nothing to do with opening new windows though. There were a lot of landing pages, even very simple ones, that were showing blank in the pop-up window. I found this out after my clicks on my landing pages suddenly dropped to 0 for no apparent reason. I tested the new software and found blank pages or really messed up unviewable pages where my landing page was supposed to be. I was still being charged for all these blank page views.

So, I've been sticking to the other 2 big PPV networks since then. Actually I do more PPC anyway. But PPV has it's place and I used to be profitable with LI. So I keep thinking of going back to them. But my experience with them last year concerning these 2 issues really left a bad impression.
