How to test conversions yourself

You can't. Mostly your affiliate managers will do a test conversion for you. As they will the test data to see the conversion to happen.

For me, mostly my AM's will do that for me, if your AM is not helpful try changing your AM to someone who can help you.

My account manager told me that the CAKE platform can't fire a conversion. Also some of the trial offers, they are not able to fire conversions. Is it possible to do conversion by myself?

This is the simple way to do it:

1. Just ask for the postback url from your traffic source and give it to your Affiliate Manager so that he will integrate it in your affiliate network;

2. Make sure also to get the postback url of voluum and give it to your AM;

3. Setup the campaign in your voluum and the final voluum tracking url will be the one you will be going to test with your AM,

You don't. The only thing to do is speak to your am. They should never Be "too busy" to help you, if they are then request a new one.

Indeed, if your AM is too busy, then you should get a new one. That's just not how AM should be servicing you.
Regarding your particular issue:
1. If you use a tracking software:
- Configure your traffic source - dynamic variable (clickID which will be associated with conversions)
- Add their postback url into your tracking software
- Add your offer from cake into your tracking software - Make sure to add the custom variable (s2 in case of cake) so you can pass your own clickid
- Add your tracking postback into cake (normally as an affiliate you have the option to place the postback yourself). configure it so it carries the clickid.
- get a test link from the traffic source and click/convert yourself - tell your AM that its a test conversion so they dont freak out.
2. If you dont use a tracking software - Not recommended
- Add your traffic source postback url on the offer you wish to promote.
- add the traffic source clickid into the s2 parameter
- provide your campaign link to the traffic source and ask for a link to test.
- run a test conversion - click/convert

You are unable to test that data by yourself. As we run desktop in-app ads, all our publishers and advertisers only can see the ad clicks, ad revenue or ad balance at our background. They can not see by themselves.
