ADS PLACEMENT: what do you think about this website ?

Hi guys,

Whats your opinion about this website and its ads placement ?


Consider that the blank space on top will have an adsense ad and is currently under review.


VidsHype - We define and showcase viral news, videos and contents daily.

    I'd imagine it would have a decent click through rate.

    Are you going to stick to one ad? And are you going to do the same placement on all the pages, or just the home page?

    Hey marcocalamassi

    Took a look at the site, which I never heard of, and if you are aiming to do affiliate marketing here, it would not be a good idea.

    However, it seems very useful for traffic.

    Because it shows a lot of funny and interesting videos, those are the kinds of videos that I'd upload and also, at the end of each video, I'd have a link within the video pointing to a website of relevant content.

    thats our website we are building....actually we are building a network of 15 viral websites each in a different niche


    we placed 6 units article-alike Mgid Ads in the footer on Home + into any article page

    plus 3 units Mgid ads on the right sidebar into any article page

    plus Adsense on top header on Home + into any article page

    how does Mgid ads compare with Adsense ?

    i would think that Mgid would do better than adsense because their pictures seem more relevant to your site


    BUT ....

    doing a search for Mgid in google brings up all sorts of tops about Mgid malware and Mgid viruses

    i know many webmasters using mgid and i never heard about issues from them...


    mgid ads looks more pertinent but i still need to check if they convert well
