you need to block unwanted categories from adsense dashboard, this way you can enable only relevant categories to your website niche.

Is purchasing adsense clicks not a violation on the TOS?

Yes, it is but google will never know about purchased clicks! So all clicks considered as natural clicks.

Well, if you have a higher click rate than normal, they will think something is up.

Thanks for attention but google always want their publishers earn highest revenue.

If you are using WP as your cms then I would recommend free plugins such as QuickAdsense & Adinjection

These can allow you to stagger / rotate ads as well as individually set when to display - very intuitive, you'll like them I trust. But seems to be an easy fix to me!

Yes, always a violation & has a consequence of permanent banning of your account.

LOL Is that really what you think?? I can 100% guarantee you that they will almost ALWAYS sniff out unusual traffic & traffic sources - once red flagged by a spider then a google rep will take a look and next step is implementation of ban hammer...

You cannot take a site which has little to no organic traffic & start throwing absorbent amounts of traffic at it... 1) because 90% of the time your traffic is going to be coming from very questionable countries / sources (if paid, organic is another story). 2) The inconsistent wave will develop on your analytics as most always people who buy traffic have to keep buying it because if they stop the drop would be catastrophic & more noticeable.

Personally I think its naïve to say Google will never know or find out about you buying traffic or / adsense clicks - but hey, go see for yourself

            False.
I think the more appropriate statement is that Google always wants SOME of their publishers to earn their highest revenue possible. Quite simply put - when it comes to the advertising end (adwords) the outfit with the biggest budget to spend every month is almost always undoubtedly taking over 50% of the adspace available, another 20% or so is delineated for the Medium/Higher budget advertisers, and maybe 30% total is left over for those of us bottom feeders who are only able to throw 2-3k per month at any given campaign. Google has a vested interest in keeping this ebb & flow (or as I like to call it the never-ending revolving door) of whales & small fish separate from one another as to regulate the amount of viable competition in any given niche. Ever wonder why 250-500 publishers are banned per day, their accounts & earnings frozen without so much as a Single line vague response as to the cause - Not allowing any rebuttal whatsoever, other than the bogus 'appeal' form which has a Re-instatement rate of about .06% of accounts ever being brought back from banning. Do you think for 2 seconds that when those publishers with $500-40,000 in earnings in their accounts at the time of the ban, ever end up returning those funds to the advertisers via Google, as they claim in their notices when you are being banned?
Of course on the surface and intrinsically Google wants to see you do well, but only if it is in line with their scope of the adspace platform & current global competition trends
